Carrying PC data over to PS3?

Hey all i was wondering if anyone knows when the ps3 version is released if we will be able to use our PC character on the ps3 version or will we have to start all over again if we want to play on the ps3? I have decided i will make the ps3 my main platform for the game however i was thinking the other day that they might not let us use our PC characters on the ps3 version because of the trophy system. For example if we have rank 50 and one of the trophies is obtain rank 50 technically we would not be able to obtain the trophy because we have already met the requirements. I hope this is not the case as i don't want to start from scratch on the ps3. thanks

Yeah pretty sure it'll be just like FFXI where you can log in from any supported platform and use your character.

I hope they let settings data transfer in future, as it doesn't currently.

Since both platforms share the same servers it should be possible.

Yeah that's what i was thinking it can't be that hard because they share the same servers i hope the developers let us know asap.

Yeah I was about to make a post about this myself I bought a PS3 and am waiting for XIV to get released, but started thinking if all I have to do, is buy a copy of XIV on PS3 and continue playing my characters I have leveled on PC version.
I know PS3 version is 1 year away, but still like to know now upfront.
