Hello! First off, sorry if my english is not perfect; it's my 3rd language so I'll try to do my best!
I have some ideas that might work well on this kind of MMORPG.
Splitting endgame:
At this moment we have a Raid, Alexander, wich is the actual and only endgame.
While it's ok to have this content, we leave behind other problems: lack of endgame content.
With only 1 Raid we end up doing the same every day until we can farm all the Raid in 1 day, leaving raiders with nothing to do the rest of the week.
But, how can we split the endgame and get the same kind of rewards at the same time? this bring us to;
Gear sets.
Gear that, like the Grand Company gear, provides special and unique buffs to the character depending how many pieces of that set you're wearing.
Let's say for example, from a pont of view of a Scholar, that Alexander Savage can provide us the actual 5 pieces of gear plus Weapon, being the gear set stats as:
If you wear 2/5 of the gear: +15% Fey heal
If you wear 4/5 of the gear: +1 Aetherflow (can stack up to 4)
Then you could make another kind of endgame, let's say a special 8-man only Diadem zone with special Notorius Monsters that requires a pop and an actual strategy, such as Alexander Savage, or another Raid with different lore and localization, and make it drop gear as an usual raid price, then you could make this kind of gear set such as:
If you wear 2/5 of the gear: +10% heal.
If you wear 4/5 of the gear: Sacred Soil mitigation up to 15%
What advantage would this bring to the game?
Some players with less time could aim only to one kind of endgame and still get endgame gear.
Players with more time could do both of the content and get both gear sets, being able to combine them for the first tier of bonus.
For example, a Scholar obtaining both gear sets, and wearing 2 of each set could have +15% Fey heal and +10% heal, yet it couldn't aim to the Sacred Soil or Aetherflow buff, but he might change to a full 4/5 set to obtain the second tier bonus if it suits better on a specific content/boss. That would bring more freedom to the player and a better progression to your main job and character!
Make special unique drops from every endgame content.
Now we have Alexander Savage as the most important endgame content.
This kind of content should have, for example, the unique special drop of a Weapon and/or something else, being it a mount, pet, title, glamour etc...
Then, make the other endgame content have something special and unique too so there's a real meaning to clear it, being it a mount, or a special accessory with a special unique effect etc...
You could make different mini-endgame contents such as special dungeons giving different special and unique gear or enchants to gear, or a special materia with unique stats/skill increases.
What's the benefit?
Freedom to choose endgame for players.
More stuff to do for endgame-players.
Personalization of your gear and stats.
Keeping people busy with different new content so they don't cancel the subscription until the next big patch.
This is just a vague general idea to split endgame on different contents and a meaning to do all of them, yet giving the chance to players with less time to clear one of the endgame and still get top gear.
