PSA: Housing Prices have Changed

For those of you looking to purchase housing from the upcoming relinquishment bonanza, please keep in mind what appears to be the new prices for plots...

I have seen no official word on this but stumbled across it today while looking at plot grade information - take it for what it is worth.

UPDATE: LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE SCREWED UP and put in the original housing prices from 2.1 on the Wiki - thanks to MogBut from reddit for pointing this out!

I will update this post when the price charts have been fixed!

Lol if those numbers are legit this is just another huge middle finger to anyone who didn't log on right when housing came out and was hoping to be able to get a house after all this time.

wiki have prices of 2.38 patch, and until today those prices havent changed. Maybe in following updates but not now. http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...6869b10e012e57

I don't remember houses being that expensive last time there were any for sale on Moogle. According to this chart Moogle is a "Mid-class" server and medium houses go for 24-30M and large houses go for 56-70M. From what I remember though mediums were around 15ish M and large ones around 36ish M. Is there any sort of confirmation for the prices yet? Cause that seems sort of riddiculous.

If your server population has changed causing the amount of gil on the server to change, the housing prices will go too. When I was on coeurl, the prices were fairly low. But I went back recently and the prices have increased by a few mil for each size.

also the listed prices apply only for new plots or returned plots, after some time the price decay gradually and around after a month without being sold it lower about to half price.

So when i had bought mine in adamantoise i paid 2.4M for a small plot in mist, so it was near half price discount as there was lot of empty slots for a long time. When i left the server the guy who bought my old plot had to pay the full price of it.

I found a post on someone's blog that lists Prices from January '14. Those seem a little more realistic to me even if they're still quite high. I can't confirm 100% that prices been like that on Moogle (or any other Server) but the numbers feel familiar from when I was looking to buy a house.
