Artifact Gear?

I'm less than a month into this game. I've hit the 40 mark on my White Mage. I noticed the next quest for my job gives the Cleric gear. What about the Healers set?

that is the gear set name. it is healers gear. myth 90 gear. AF 1.5 to start you off. as they needed a way for people catch up a bit faster. so they added the 90 gear with the 45/50 that you normally get. it is to help make the gearing beyond faster and get you into a decent set for Heavensward.

The 45/50 gear has always existed as a first step. With the addition of HW, in order to help newer players get through the pile of Main Story Quests before Heavensward, they put the AF1.5/2 (depending on who you ask) i90 gear on one of your job quests. My understanding is that you still get the 45/50 gear from your 45 quest as well.

I just didn't see Healers set for a reward from the next quest, just the cleric set. Can you not get the healer set anymore?

That's because you recover the AF pieces from treasure chests during the quest itself instead of receiving them as a quest 'reward' when you complete it. So don't worry if they've removed AF1 from the game, as they're still acquired during that quest.
