    24 players savage

    well like the title says im missing a 24 player savage mode raid. i know some people might have suggested this before but i gotta pull this topic out of the grave once again.
    as a former wow player im still very interested in raids that are a bit bigger than the usual 8 man staic and we already have the 24 player raids but those are as we all know easy as hell. just like alexander normal is easy as hell so i understand the concept of easy raid but why not give us what the small grps already have?

    a good and hard to savage would be perfect for this game wich has no alliance content at all. (and no airship does not counts since its just grinding and pretty damn easy)

    we would even have a reason to go into this 24 savage... just give us a third option for stats combination on the gear maybe add something cool as well like mounts ect, and the players would storm this raid in a nutshell.
    what are guys thinking about that?

    Have you even participated in 24 man content? It's easy because it has to be (trolling and difficulty of coordination)

    It's hard enough finding 8 people of suitable calibre for raiding savage, 24? no, just no, unless savage was made infinitely easier, there is no way it would work LOL

    well finding people should be no problem i mean like i said bigger raids do work as seen in other games it does not have be supercrazy like wildstart but even in this game the 40 raids are clear and there are way less players in this game than in ffxiv
    also coordination was never problem before why should it be one here? its rather a question of how would it be executed by the programmers.
    also yes i have of course played the 24 players content and thats the problem its so damn easy that its no fun at all. its just like "urgh yes i have to do this thing because i need my damn gear every week -.-" its a joke not a raid its just like alex normal. fun once but thats that

    As someone already stated, it's easy 'cause it has to be. Sure, it's easy for a lot of us. Idk how many 24-man raids you've run though, but I've run PLENTY where people make things MUCH harder than they have to be, either through trolling, extremely poor coordination, or just flat-out incompetence.

    And on the contrary, I think it would be pretty difficult to find 24 people capable of running a raid at Savage level... Quite a hassle to recruit a full 24-man raid as it is, let alone one with players who meet the skill requirement for that level of content.

    Savage doesn't need to exist, there are ways to make content tougher without tacking Savage to it. Honestly SE isn't thinking outside the box when it comes to keeping older content relevant.

    Here is an example:

    Crystal Tower (Level 50 Sync 50)

    Have fun beating that, on top of that allow the ability to tack on challenges onto the Duty.

    -One Life (Unable to Raise if player is defeated they can only be raised after a boss is defeated)

    -Tenacity (Healers gain more aggro when curing)

    -Fatigue (All TP abilities double in cost/DD mages lose 1/3 their MP pool)

    And it's just quick examples that came to mind but honestly, why not create the Golden Saucer "Battle Arena" that just acts as a portal to creating unique challenges for older content and completing certain challenges could award unique gear/item achievements or as mentioned in another post doing specific challenges could increase drop rate of certain loot or even add new rarer loot to those dungeons.

    It would revitalize the game in a way that is needed to be honest, so much content is forgotten but honestly speaking unsynced "extreme" fights are still tough, unsynced dungeons can still be tough, but this game deflates the difficulty so much because it's easy to overgear.

    24 player - or generally any number near that - content would be great. But honestly it would be a different game.

    8man savage: everyone has to be 100% or you start over. You're following a script more or less. This means very difficult to replace anyone.

    24man, if done right: There has to be some flexibility. Things should be killable with a few people missing or non-optimal class mix. This means a little easier in terms of what is expected of everyone skill wise. Then you make up for that with a longer duration or more quantity of mechanics (less intensity though).
