    I am getting error when trying to update my payment method

    An error has occurred.
    Please confirm the status of any relevant options and then try again.
    For details, please contact the Square Enix Support Center.
    (Error code: 601)

    I don't know what i am suppose to do and i have 2 days left do i go to mogstatioin or the SE account cause i tried both but no matter what it won't let me update my payment method :\

    need to wait 24 hours for each failed attempt to charge a card---it puts a lock on it for a day each time a charge is declined. In the mean time, double check with your bank to make sure everything is alright with your account and that they aren't blocking the transaction on their end. They should see the attempted charge if SE got so far as to request an authorization. The clearing company for their credit carts is something like Global Collect I think...it puts an icon up when I buy Crysta, but never really paid much attention to it.

    In two days, when you try again double check all your info is accurate. If there indeed is an issue with them processing your card directly for a monthly sub, you could try the PayPal route. Another option is the Crysta option if it is available in your region. You will need to set up your Crysta Passbook and purchase the Crysta first and then you can select to use Crysta to pay your sub.

    If you aren't getting to the point that it is actually trying to charge the card, then there may be an issue with your browser. One of the more common issues is the encryption scheme. Need to be using at least TLS 1.2 if I remember correctly. You can check it by running inetcpl.cpl from your search/run box. Go to the Advanced tab and scroll to the end where the SSL encryption options are--make sure the TLS options have a check beside them. This will set the options for Windows and IE. Then you will need to also make sure the same TLS options are enabled for Java by opening the Java app in Control Panel and going to the Advanced tab and scrolling to the bottom just like you did with inetcpl.cpl. If you are using another browser you will need to check for similar settings for your specific browser. Each one is different. Firefox should have it set by default on the newer releases, but you can double-check by going to the URL "about:config" and scrolling to the security.tls items. There should be two lines for setting a min and max version level---they should be set to 1 and 3 respectively.

    I tried that and i have a new card just can't seem to get it :\ don't want it to lock my account cause they couldn't reach the old card
