NO THANKS.
HELL NO.

Diadem was the one of the worst if not the worst content this game seen. A horrible piece of crap made to just keep us playing until 3.2 but it was poorly made. I don't want anything like this ever again. I got my mount from there and it was an awful experience. I will never ever enter that silly thing ever again. 1 and half hour of a stupid grindfest with a zerg and no brains. Reminded me of Lineage 2 grindfest and not with the good meaning. Horrible idea poorly executed. FFXIV needs more horizontal progression and more gear choices. I don't mind the tomestones but those ideas got old and we are still getting the same things recycled over and over again with every patch. I'm pretty sure there are other ways too. 3.1 was a horrible patch. I liked the 2 new dungeons but apart from those it was a poor job. We need more open world activities (I don't mean FATE grindfest), gear from craft which will be good, more dungeons with gear that is not crap and not only for skin.
Yea. I think Diadem would of been better if it acted as a gateway to openworld content. Instead of having junk you can gather in Diadem, why not gain favors in Diadem that can be used in the open world to find unique gathering nodes? Why not have these favor be sellable on the MB, this would fix the issue with DOL but it would also give a reason for DOL to fight in Diadem, to earn/find more favors or exchange for points to obtain favors.
Another could be the ability to find unique treasure maps in Diadem maybe have it where you can obtain 2 maps a week through Diadem, and those maps could be used to fight named open world bosses that require a full party of i200+ geared players.
The exploration is lacking in Diadem because the design is very simplistic, if anything it feels like a somewhat dumb downed Abyssea because you kill mobs, to make another mob spawn while following a path to spawn it. It's true that Diadem in a way has just turned into a Duty Finder hunt system that can be queued for without the waiting to call out a mob spawning lol which is kinda lame, there isn't really a sense of exploration and that's the part I was really hoping would of made it into Diadem but it does feel really shallow atm.
and if it's anything like XI's result. . .
"It's simple. We, uh kill the endgame"

Abyssea is already in FFXIV and it is called the diadem.
Also, Abyssea is probably the worst piece of content of FFXI. It is simply horrible.
It is 100 % the same thing. The only difference is that you don't have specific gear dropping from a specific NM (which is a good thing because Abyssea was a nightmare in that regard).1. Diadem is nothing like Abyssea, this last one having a better design and concept imo.

Anything else would be better than how the game is now.
The Gold Saucer says high. I though Triple Triad was a train wreak but Thal's Balls did Lords of Verminnion hit the ground dead.Diadem was the one of the worst if not the worst content this game seen. Okay so I was one of the few folks who LIKED Abyssea but..... no.
I wouldn't mind the new weapons following the Empyrean weapon pattern though. 50/50/75 NM kills mean you had to cooperate with people to get shit done, especially since the NMs were farmed/popped and dropped other nice things for people.
