I think you've made it super clear by now that you have no problem with the game's presentation of models... the thread was started as a joke or at least as a stab at humor, do we really have to start lambasting people who disagree with you?

I mean, it's about packages and rears. In a video game. Though it ties into the larger demand for more character customization options, at the end of the day this is a topic that wasn't started for someone like you to come in and start seriously debating whether or not it's necessary based on real-world examples and feelings. I appreciate your passion but can we all calm down a bit and just agree that in a perfect game we could have our ideal bumps in all the right places?

First, it was not for people to talk about behinds either. Second, I'm not debating whether or not it's necessary based on real world examples and feelings. Heck, it cannot even be called a "debate" when only one side responds to the arguments of the other, while that other side completely ignores everything else.

I am talking about the choice of words. About ENGLISH LANGUAGE. In particular, about a choice of word that is simply incorrect from a biological stand point.

Irrelevant. It would be relevant if I was against changing the default texture to a more typical, "existing" buttocks. I have several times now said that I am NOT against it. What I am against is connecting that change to a false reasoning. Consider this. If Thief A is charged with stealing 300 dollars from mister A while Thief B is charged with stealing 300 dollars from mister B, but in reality Thief A stole from mister B and Thief B stole from mister A, both thieves will receive "just punishment"...but it will still be a punishment for a different crime than the one they committed. They will be obliged to return money to the wrong person.

Seeming irrelevant, but world is not a void. Just like one of them may return money while the other will not and the one that will have issues will be the wrong person, a change done for the wrong reason feeds wrong cases. It will be a win for people advocating something fundamentally wrong which MAY, in the long run, lead to absurd changes in a completely different place.

I think you're being way too serious and way too emotional in a light-hearted thread that is about fake, pixel butts and fake, pixel bulges in a fake, pixel video game.

The video game is not fake, just digital. Not that it really matters, besides this being the same kind of problem of a misuse of a word.

That being said, I am serious not in relation to the video but to the posters. The case I am making in this thread relates to very real humans behind very real keyboards and monitors using very real words to share very real ideologies. If you took a moment and paid attention to what I've really been writing you'd notice that. Not necessarily agree with me (heck, yer average person would bring the "language is an evolving thing" argument against what I've been writing here which), but that's another thing entirely.

If it's "unrealistic" to expect a muscular, visibly present butt on a character who slays primals and liberated countries for a living... well, then I happily ask for an "unrealistic butt".

It is REALISTIC for someone to have flat butt AND it is REALISTIC for someone to have a finely curved butt...and it is realistic to have a butt that is the size of half the body (yes, I personally know a person like that).

I'm not defending flat butts in a video game. But I won't repeat the same thing yet again...

Hm...I'm pretty sure that the "fun" was the point of only several posts here. Unless I mistook something and people find it "fun" to complain about something that shouldn't even be a problem to begin with since this game should never lack the front and back shapes to begin with. But it does for whatever unfathomable reason the developers had to make such a choice.


All in all...seriously...Two pages and no virtually no one even actually did read a single thing from what I said...That's...disheartening.

I'm not gonna respond to the rest anymore, because that's pointless. But I can respond to this. And the response is...I won't. For certain reasons I use that punctuation marker whenever writing a question because it does actually signify the tone in which I do ask questions in real life. Though, I do suppose, that at times my use of it may be correct in my language but not necessarily in English. Unfortunately these differences are hard to avoid.

See, I read your responses. They were simply far too pedantic that it reduced your argument down to essentially complaining about complaining.

Oh. Someone actually did read it carefully it seems, since yes, what I wrote may be considered pedantic. I'll just settle at this point on "agree to disagree" on whether it's "complaining just to complain" though. My language have several other uses on top of those, including rhetoric, sarcastic, surprised etc. So you need not give it much attention, it usually in no way shows me needing to calm down.

This is a picture of a character with muscle tone but yet does not have any butt to match, thus being unrealistic.

People with leg muscles and muscle tone also have butts. She does not have a realistic hip-to-butt ratio, and hardly any muscle in her glutes, despite having other prominent leg muscles.
This also applies to highlander females as well, and all female characters really, when you consider how active they are, and how wide their hips are.
