Bulge size options for character creation.

That is the same kind of thing every mmo dev team says. For years WoW devs said it was next to impossible to change the size of the backpack and later admitted that was a myth. If they want the game to last there will have to be some significant upgrades and adjustments they are going to have to do anyways.

I don't care about this particular issue as much as I notice there are always a plethora of topics where players request more customization. The butt issue I understand because it was a change. People get accustomed to how their characters look and when a change is forced upon them they feel slighted. If they just add a bulge to everyone they will have the same issue. Maybe a few options rather than a slider would be enough? My biggest issue with character customization in many games is the grouping of many features, especially facial features. So I support almost any customization in hopes that it results in a full overhaul.

After thinking on it i have to say even thats a cop out. The fact is they dont have to redesigns all the items they just have to introduce new items such as level 1 glamour gear and from now on when new items are made as the expansions go on make sure that the new items are made to have the effect we are talking about. IF they dont want to redesign the old gear fine but that doesnt mean they cant put the effect in the new gear. And as for our sprites well that can just be adjusted broadly and though Im not in favor of a slider, cause as its pointed out everyone will just max it out, if they placed a slider all they have to do is send everyone a single fantasia potion to remake. There is an easy way to do it they just dont want to. They had the for-site to sexualize the women and even add bouncing to the breasts but somehow giving guys their manhood wasn't even a passing thought.

I want to say that I am laughing at this but lets be realistic here. The immaturarity level of the game would sky rocket if a bulge slider was put in, would not be long before we get questionable screen shots being posted on the forum. Example a Wedding of a Roe and lala when their rising into the air...ya we all get were this is going. I dont know about anyone else but some of the things I have seen happening in Limsa would get far more wrong if a bulge was present..

It's the same for ladies i imagine when they create a lady character and they are totally flat on the front and back. I really want bulge and butt sliders to increase them, but japanese devs have this weird fixation of having all of that super flat and neutered.

Also of concern to me: tails and ears should tuck under the armor, a lot of animations are super lame (to put it mildly).

I get that the Japanese have these ideas of what constitutes as indecent, though you would think a country that has an annual festival where people can actually buy very accurately made penis shaped suckers wouldn't be so worked up about a bulge or rounder butts. Its a real thing, held annually during spring in Kawasaki Japan and its called Kanamara Matsui, really look it up. That being said, this game is marketed around the world and we are not so weird about those things in the US and we all know the Europeans and Brazilians are even more open. These servers are broken up into regions in the first place and i don't see why we cant have access to regional preferences. I don't use mods, mainly cause i'm too worried about getting in trouble and loosing my account, but i have looked around at them. There are a lot of very talented programmers who have made amazing mods improving the look and texture of the skin, adding details like nipples and much better defined foot structure and amazing work on body hair and silhouettes, and yes, default bulges. People have done the work for them. All SE would have to do is pay a decent price for the programs and implement them in the game itself. I'm sure these same programmers would be thrilled at having their name added to the list of programmers to not only get more exposure but to pad their own resumes. IT isn't very hard to do. And as far as the items are concerned They don't have to redo all the old stuff just from now on include the adjustments to new items and create new level 1 glamour items to be used in the game featuring the new aesthetics. The only reason this is being made so difficult is SE's unwillingness to listen to the players who have been asking this for years. I mean we arnt asking for anything crude and dirty. IT's just simple aesthetics realism that will make the game look and feel better.

It's technically unrealistic to have everyone's butt's and bulges that are not the norm.

A slider that gave people a wide range would be more realistic as there are a wide range of butt's. Also, flat butts with no muscle tone, while also somehow having wide hips is still unrealistic (Size of butts depends on the hips you have as well, and our characters don't have the butt's to match their hip type, I mentioned hip to butt ratios in an earlier post), based on how much our characters sprint, how much jumping they do, and how much heavy armour they wear. There's a reason why people who want bigger butt's do exercise.

Female Roegadyns and highlanders have muscletone, and very muscled legs, but no butt's to go with it! Unrealistic.

Also having absolutely nothing there for men in terms of bulge is unrealistic, sure there might theoretically be birth defects and genetic defects that result in a man having no reproductive organs, but everyone being like that? Unrealistic.

Folks, if you play on PC there are "ways" to give the men and women better booty and for guys to have a bulge and give better muscle definition to the slender guys, just look it up on google

I know it'd be better to actually have these options but gotta do what you gotta do.

And run the risk of those mods putting a virus on our computer, messing up the game causing lag, glitches and who knows what else, and not to mention getting in trouble with SE and permanently band loosing all those hours played, levels and gil earned and all items acquired? Yeah no I'll pass.
