Also, you might want to hire an editor for your magazine, as the poor spelling and grammar throughout most of it made it difficult to read. I had to constantly reread it and decipher what you actually meant to write. Otherwise, and all-in-all, it's a good work and I'm sure there are numerous players out there who will enjoy something like that.

Haha thanks everyone ;-) And yes we have some serious grammar/wrong word/spelling issues going. I noticed that after reading the articles a few times. I'll have to prod Lucy extra to make sure she reviews them all. She's super awesome at the whole spelling thing ;-)

Not bad for just starting out.

I would look into the fundamentals of typography, and grid based layouts. You have pretty inconsistent leading (line spacing) if your using Indesign I would suggest setting up a baseline grid and setting it so that your type snaps to the baseline grid, this will mean that the base lines your type will be aligned across the spread. Also don't try to use to many fonts in one spread, a rule of thumb is usually 3-4. Allow a bit more space in your margins, especially on the gutter side and maybe uncheck hyphenate in your paragraph options (thats more personal taste). Another thing I would add for consistence across the magazines is that if you indent each paragraph there is no need to have a break in the lines between them too, I would advise picking on system and rolling with it, both are perfectly viable.

Aside of popoto, I did like whole of the magazine. Only need typography and some align adjustment to make it beautiful. Keep it up!

Thanks for the advice Miscreant, Yes I am using Indesign, first time using it was the first issue, so I'm learning how to use the program. I will look more into your advice.
