Void Ark Double Drops

Not sure if this belongs here or not. I like the fact that bosses drop 2 peices each, but the fact that they can drop 2 of the same piece is just plain silly. I'm not sure if this is an oversight or a design choice, but I think it should be looked at and discussed. And for proof that it can happen...

Happens all the time. At least people rolling on the same loot have another chance.

My guess is design choice, so people who aren't that job can roll on an item. I got fending pants as a DRG because of double drop this week, and the tank rolled Need on the other pair--I got Needed out of every single tank drop in World of Darkness, even though the tanks rolling Need had dreadwyrm tank gear.

RNG is RNG, and there have been times where its been useful to have double drops so can't complain on my end. Atleast until it drops two things I want that I can't decide on.

Even though the chance is rather small to get 2 of the item especially you need.

I wish this was more of a thing for me lol, but most of the time I see stuff hit the floor, especially when you don't have said jobs in your group. I can see the pro's and con's of the system, but I guess I'm a little sour because you want a particular piece, and instead you get double of possibly one of the worst items from ark...

I suspect this was implemented to prevent the issue of people dropping after a certain boss because they know what they want can't drop on later bosses. It is a clever idea, but the problem is I sometimes see the same things dropping several times or double drops like this one and it's quite frustrating.
