@Noah Was wondering what I would still need to get from your list you sent me with the current parts I have.

GAMMA Classic Series ATX Mid Tower Interior Steel Chassis, is the case I currently have.
    I have a 550 watt power supply.
    G.Skill 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz Ripjaws Series - the ram I currently have.
Also just purchased an SSD, and I already have the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, so figure I would just need some new paste correct?

Wow, if you already have the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, I would spend a little more and get the i5 4690k. Those US prices are amazing.

All I can say is when I was still playing on the PC, I got a substantial bump with the faster memory. Always did. Perhaps if one isn't properly configuring timings they may not fair too well. But as I stated earlier, if the system properly supports it higher performance memory can make a difference---especially if the memory subsystem is one of the bottlenecking factors. Simply dropping 2133mhz cards in a laptop may not benefit if it is still only going to run as 1600--but with PC'S that allow you to reconfigure timings it can be a whole different ball game. The simple act of being able to run a faster bus speed can ramp things up to a new level across the board.

In other words, dropping memory in a system capable of running at higher clock rates/tighter timings may not appear to improve things if you are still running it at the same bus speed and CAS/RAS. But if the system properly supports it and is configured to run it properly, it can improve things considerably.

I use these and the games runs fine on high settings (Laptop)
    FX 6300
    R9 270x
    8 GB Ram.

I do notice a difference between Framerates in Laptop/Desktop settings. 60FPS with dips in city hubs and fate parties, but visual quality I can't really notice a difference.I do use SweetFX but I have a hard time with it because I don't really understand how to tweak it myself and the presets for the most part that people have created are way too saturated and look glaringly cartoonish.

If I made any change it would be to put the game on a SSD Drive but then I guess I'd be waiting on other players to load in to dungeons so is it really worth it?

Even still this doesn't stop me from daydreaming about splurging tons of cash for the entertainment of building a new rig. Anyone want to send me a check?

@Raist, it doesn't work like that anymore. Actually 2400Mhz ram vs 1600Mhz ram, the 1600Mhz will give you like 2-3 fps more. Since DX11 can't make use of everything available. The topic creator is basicly fine with everything, considering he already had the cooler I suggested and ram thats still great. He saved atleast 80bucks, so he could easily get a 250gb SSD.

This is the reason I always suggest a intel version that can't be OC'd

Just get everything, except for the memory. I can say with confidence that the Fractal Design R5 is one of the best cases on the market. It keeps your system quiet and cool. You don't need to add fans to the case at all. It also has a small onboard fan control. I suggest putting the front and back fans on it, cause it will be smoothly silent. I use this case myself with a h100i and the only thing I hear is my gpu when I'm playing games and even that is really quiet, because 300 series of the amd cards don't really get that warm and the cooling will spin on like 400rpm.

Here is what I use. It is roughly 10 months old now.

Level 10 GT snow edition Thermaltake case

MSI GeForce GTX 980 DirectX 12 GTX 980 GAMING 4G 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support G-SYNC Support Video Card

MSI Gaming X99S Gaming 9 ACK LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard

    Intel Core i7-5820K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.3 GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W BX80648I75820K Desktop Processor

    G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Desktop Memory Model F4-2400C15Q-16GRK

Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme S CLW0224-B Water Cooler

Crucial MX100 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT256MX100SSD1

    Western Digital 150 GB VelociRaptor SATA 3 Gb/s 10,000 RPM 16 MB Cache Bulk/OEM Enterprise Hard Drive - WD1500HLFS
------------Everything above this line was $2,124.90 off of Newegg.com-----------------------------

    Gaming Peripherals

Corsair K95 RGB with Cherry MX Brown switches (Bday gift. I hate mechanical keyboards but this was the only RGB keyboard with 18 macro keys at the time. I DESPISE razer products just saying.)

Mad Catz Rat Pro X Gaming mouse (Won this in a contest Madcatz was having.)

Corsair 1500 headset (Seriously the most comfortable headset I have ever owned in my 20 years of gaming)

    Lastly my monitor

Sanyo 52" Class LCD 1080p 120Hz HDTV , DP52440 (There is no lag on this what so ever. I love being able to sit 5 feet away.)

Please note that my motherboard has a streaming engine on it. I currently stream on twitch using Xsplit Broadcaster. My frames never dip below 100 FPS even with in dungeons or raids on the setup stated above.

My recommendation? Get a system like mine if you can afford it. Although pick up to date parts.

My system is currently overclocked with the OC Genie button on my botherboard to 4.0 GHZ. All are within acceptable and good ranges for a modest overclock such as mine. That is why I recommend MSI motherboards.

Whatever you can afford for a graphics card, get it. The rest of your system wont hold you back.

That is true. I just can't believe there is only a 30$ difference between those CPU's in the US. I would almost just do it for the 200Mhz difference in clock speed.

It's kinda more useful for streaming but even then a i7 should be more or less enough. Also unless you're using some type of program to use the extra power of the GPU, i.e. DSR the 980 isn't worth it. You're not going to have any significant difference running over 60hz. Also don't use those one button OC, they will usually use a lot more voltage than required. Just OC it yourself if you want to OC it.
