I used to be a full VIT tank but since this Strength Tanks thing started I switch and I like it. I keep my STRG gear and VIT gear all the time If I know that I can handle the damage and also my healer I go full STRG in the other hand if I see my healer struggling or in heavy dmg fights (such as Thordan Ex) I change to my VIT gear and I use one of those items to reset my stats, I always carry 20 or so just in case, at least that's what I do.

As a WAR, I have over 20,000 HP (and over 16,000 in Deliverance) and I'm only at i193. I have all 35 of my bonus points in STR and 3 out of 5 accessories are slaying. Sorry, I will continue to play my WAR as I please.

as an old-fashioned healer, I genuinely wish there was a reason for tanks to actually need more VIT.
Sadly, that just doesn't exist, so instead we have healing DPS, tanking DPS, and full DPS.
Any HP higher than what's needed to survive isn't useful to have because it holds no benefit towards the raid. I mean it probably makes the healers job easier (maybe?) but that assumes the healer even needs the help.
Here's to hoping tanks can go back to tanking, so healers can go back to healing, so DPS can have their job back.
You know what the problem with this is? That Dps are the most unreliable players in the game. The absolute hardest part of any end-game encounter (savage or otherwise) is not the Tank busters, or the AoE mitigation, or even the boss mechanics. The hardest part is finding 4 Dps who actually know how to rotate their highest possible Dps while not standing in stupid. I've seen enough fail Dps squads to know that you cannot trust the Dps to sign their checks on their own.

I could, in all honesty say the same about tanks and healers in their own roles. Though, I don't trust any player unless I've played with you before. I expect everyone to fall flat on their face. Unless you are well known (in a good way) or I'm proven otherwise. (Or someone I trust vouches for the person). If they do prove me wrong, I am pleasently surprised. You know what the problem with this is? That Dps are the most unreliable players in the game. Nature of the game I suppse at this point.

Healers don't play the healing role anyway. In this game, everyone is DPS...there is no job roles anymore. Tanks focus just enough to make sure they keep hate...but then focus on DPS output. Healers do just enough to keep someone alive...but make sure they optimize DPS. And normal DPS well...DPS. I miss the good 'ole days, when healers were meant to heal, tanks were meant to tank, and DPS were meant to DPS

which will probably... well hopefully the case with 3.2 endgame Raids again just like before with Coil.Healers don't play the healing role anyway. However u cant reall stop people aiming for dps output on their classes..
once people grow comfortable with fights/getting more gear etc. they start to play way more aggressive, including the Heals and Tank. However this would be then just a nice addition and not a requirement, as it is the case atm with alexander Savage.
thordan does not really count cause there is no requirement for tanks and heal to deal dmg.
