Here's some patch notes I'd like to see:
Anima Weapon
-You may now begin the quest of building your Anima Weapon. Did you think you'd get to skip the first step, because you made a Zeta Weapon? Start from scratch like everyone else!
-There will be no books.
-Have fun!
Main Scenario Storyline
-More shit happens.
-More characters are introduced, or something.
-Someone will probably die, we hope it's not Tataru.
-Guaranteed to spark controversy. See you on the General Discussion Forums!
Job Changes
Warrior: Visual effect of Berserk has been updated. When a Warrior uses Berserk, they will actually go berserk. Under the effect of Berserk, the Warrior now has a 50% chance to cause damage to his or her party with Area of Effect skills.
White Mage: Fluid Aura II has been implemented.
Black Mage: Black Mages are fine.
Summoner: Now summons fully formed primals to their side. Pets have 10% chance of breaking free of their master's control.
Miscellaneous
PvP has been removed from the game for the time being, while we figure out a better PvP system to use.
New fighting mini-game has been implemented in the Gold Saucer. Play as all your favorite NPCs, from Yda to Galvus van Baelsar or Belsar or Bilky-saur in a high-paced fighting game!
Please look forward to it.
Three Ilm Knights, One Thousand Malm Road
Bard is backwards to begin with. I feel the spirit behind this class is constant motion, and WM destroys the feng shui.
WM should provide a bonus WHILE moving. It's not as easy as it seems, next time you're on your bard/archer try it. You'd have to factor other mobs/pats, AoE, and other mechanics. It would bring a lot more fun to a class that currently with WM is required to just stand there and tap keys with the real challenge being not to doze off in the middle of it all.
Knew this was coming. EVERY thread is misleading to someone here, and never has a thread title changed because you think it to be so.
I had a wholeeeee list of needed patch notes but then realized.....no point.
o.O
♥ MORE HIGH HEELS + INSTANCED HOUSING! ♥!
Bard is a support class, that's the point. It would be slightly strange if we put out the same amount of DPS as a Dragoon. I think Bard is fine the way it is, in my opinion, and actually enjoy using WM. It's not exactly that hard to play compared to other classes.
At that duration on the DoTs, its better to IJ instead of BL. Especially if you have buffs up (Your own or others), you lose more DPS for having to manual cast 2 DoTs than missing a potential BL reset.
Ironically, the WM cast times have often let me correct the mistake of trying to squeeze in one last Heavy Shot :P
That said, I do think Bloodletter needs to have "Charges" instead of a flat cooldown with the River of Blood proc adding a charge rather than replacing the cooldown. The charges would recover on their own at the same rate BL currently does, but it would essentially allow the River of Blood to give us 2 uses of Bloodletter (3 if it happens at the same moment Bloodletter naturally resets) if we get lucky enough that both DoTs crit AND trigger. Place a cap on the charges or a duration on them so you can't prestack or save up dozens of shots.
I think that'd pretty much eliminate the one 'bugbear' Bard currently suffers.
Sorry but the thread title is literally named "3.15 Patch Notes", it couldn't be any more misleading. It is giving people false information before they even open the thread. It needs to be changed although the OP has (thankfully) edited his post.
The thread title is trolling really hard here. The OP even though changed the original post, the title is still derailing to people coming here on the forums.
None for SCH?! Pfft you lacist! (jk) (Although I don't need any change for SCH)
As others have said, misleading title.
Also, i dont think you ahve very much of an idea about balance. Even making something like iron jaws instant to use kind of breaks bard and makes dpsing on that class stupidly easy.
Its like you just want to make everything even more powerful, require less skill to use and basically break some classes.
