It seems likely the raid will take us to Yafaem Saltmoor in part two or three, the last known site of the city of magic. I wonder where else it might take us....perhaps the Floating City of Nym or Ancient Eorzean Stratum?

Yafaem Saltmoor? that was a place of Mhor dona where it was said to be the capital city of the Mhach, right?

I think Yafaem is in Gyr Abana or Xelphatol somewhere, so we probably won't go there until 4.0. And the most prominent still-standing structure in Nym is already a dungeon, though I guess they could Second Coil it and make the chunks above get bigger once you land on them.

That said, I have no idea where they plan of fitting Diablos' castle from the preview illustration. Hopefully we won't just fly off to "somewhere" from the Sea of Clouds like we did with the Ark.

I don't think the region is that big either. It's a Small area North West of Mor Dohna and bordering Dravania and Coerthas if I remember correctly.

Judging by the map of Eorzea, it seems to be about as big the region of Mor Dhona that we have access. So yeah, none too big.

I have nothing of value to add to this thread, but I'm so super excited about this plotline. Not really about the sky pirates, but Mhach in general and SE finally expanding on it is amazing.

I'd like to see that be a dungeon at some point in the 3.x series. More tonberries? Flying oppo-oppos? Anything would be awesome.
