Don't have anything recent, but a little while ago I ran a main scenario roulette and got praetorium with someone named stevie nicks. It was awesome. I said I wished we were on titan and she said, no, she hates titan. So I couldn't help myself. I said, "What? Landslide bring you down?"
It was perfect.

1 thing tht happened to me was tht there was a GEX pf for vortex feather and it literally said GEX party farm. So my friend & I joined. We ran it a few times & I received a vortex feather! Yay! When we got out I gave it to my friend becaz I was farmin it for him. The leader then said to party give me the vortex feather I've been runnin it for ages & this pf was made for me so that I can get a vortex feather for my friend, give me that vortex feather plz tht you got. I was like huh this is a GEX farm I got the feather fair & square. Then everyone else in the pf started tellin me to give him the vortex feather becaz they joined to help him. O.o hey I've been farmin GEX for a long time for the vortex feather to give to my friend. What person would put up a pf anyway just to have ppl join to help give their vortex feather to them? Tht's a bit selfish. Just keep farmin the vortex feather till it drops for yourself or for 1 of your friends to give to you. Sigh. Now I have haters in my realm.

Had one last weekend...

Had just woken up early (well.... early on a Saturday, for me) due to noise, made coffee, logged in, queued up in trial Roulette on my AST.... didn't expect immediate pop at like, 9:30 am (like an idiot). Didn't even get a sip of that coffee, yet. It was Ramuh... no biggie. So, I'm groggily kicking around Protect, pre-emptive card draw, putting up an AST stance and suddenly -

BAM

We'd just barely gotten ourselves set up, no tanks had even pulled yet, and Ramuh decided to give us ALL a nice, shocking hello. It was such a welcoming hello that it hurt. ;-;
We all just sorta scattered in a confused "wait wtf??" way, I kicked on Lightspeed and spammed Helios (as several had been struck more than once in splash damage before the tanks could grab control... all I know was majority of the party were half HP or below) to get us all back into shape.... and I just couldn't NOT laugh at a tank's comment, despite my heart attack, once we got back into the flow -

"Suddenly, BEARD."

Came out of the roulette thinking, "To hell with the coffee... I'm awake now >.>"

I still have no idea what happened, since I didn't see or hear anyone cast anything or any skill/spell graphic...
I guess Ramuh decided he wanted to pull, for once o-o

I got my friend into the game, but we always end up playing at different hours of the day. He went from 1 to 50 & through the MSQ without realizing he could teleport. He was so used to FFXI's system where you had to be a whm to tele that he didn't notice that the tele icon was there. He said he'd just get on the rental chocobo and go smoke while it ran him to his destination. LOL
