What they really need to focus on and nerf... and I think EVERYONE will agree... is the rampant tyranny of RNG in every bit and every aspect of this game.

I thought about transferring to Gilga before I canceled sub. But I don't want to raid Alex Savage anymore, even if they paid me xD
Yeah, that's... extremely unlikely. They wouldn't start with a story mode and then not follow through.Well, is 3.2 there is a pretty high chance story mode will be gone.
You can't directly compare va to Alex due to the type of content they are and thus, different expectation.
Current Alexander had a very weak shelf life since itd only stay relevant for entry gear and once alex2 comes out, the gating. Especially the latter leaves for no shelf life once it happens, while at the same time you've missed the mark for the population who also thinks savage is too overturned.

"Because it won't trivialize half of the raiding rewards"
This is extremely egoistical and I hope it doesn't sum up the raider's mentality about content in the game.

Why is it egotistical? I am sorry that I think rewards should be proportional to effort/success. Please check your sense of entitlement, it's nauseating.

There's effort in time-sinks. There's effort when someone with less skill does something others think is easy, but they had to work towards it. There's effort in grinding.
You're the one who should check your sense of entitlement, because, just to begin, this game WAS NOT DEVELOPED towards the raiding community, but towards all types of FF players, hence why Yoshida scrapped a lot of action style things they thought about adding to the game. You should be the last one to say anything about entitlement. Now please, go treat that superiority complex you got there, it's nauseating.

The effort it takes to grind is not the same kind of effort it takes to raid. Sorry you lack the sight to see that. Also, how is getting the best gear in this game a grind? You can get upgraded eso for about 3 hrs a week of dungeon daily + 1 VA run. If you think that takes effort, I am glad you're not on the dev team. There's effort in time-sinks. Btw Mrs. strawman, Where did I say that this game WAS developed for raiders? If anything, I acknowledge the fact that this game is casual oriented. But hey, put words in my mouth and make me a strawman, it much easier to defeat the effort == reward argument by misdirecting.
I am fine with my superiority complex, I can live with it, but at least I am honest about mine![]()

I will be sure to use arguments IF you bring arguments yourself. All you did was say that "raiders deserve the best rewards because they raid".
You said they "trivialize raid rewards", something that personally I disagree, and you came back saying that I have a nauseating entitlement sense, so, in a way, you kinda said that they should focus on raid rewards. That's not a strawman I created, it was simple an answer to your statement about entitlement.
What you seem to fail to understand is that the current savage scene doesn't affect only raiders, nor the solution is to appeal only to them. If this game wants to live and last long, they need to get to a parameter where casual, softcore, midcore and hardcore raiders are pleased, not to mention taking into account the crafters/gatherers and in-game economy issues.
This is not as simple as "give BiS to the hardest content in game and we're done". They need to reward every type of effort, be it time sink relic quests, DF story-mode players, midcore raiders and hardcore alike. ALL your points made here only appeal to YOUR demographic, and that's why I said it was egoistical. Try thinking outside of the box a little, take a walk on someone else's shoes, and try to be a little more understanding, because your posts brought nothing constructive to the discussion until now.

Phone posting sucks. This right here is my greatest concern because ever since 3.0, the content being released has felled short of my already mediocre expectations. Top that off with yoshi's conflicting or questionable responses lately, I'm starting to lose faith on if he even has a vision on what the game should be, or is he just throwing out whatever and hope it works. Don't forget that the developers had thought FATEs were very popular and that people liked it because of the amount of participants, when in actuality it was the fastest way to gain exp since nothing else was available.
