[Dev Request] Expanding Glamour Options (Craft/Gather)

I really love this games customization and how you can mix a lot of gear together to make some amazing and unique looks.

We have even gotten to the point were we can mix a lot of craft/gathering items to make some fun glamour ideas. For example Using Sky Pirate hat and some Gathering gear to make yourself look like a pilot as an Astrologian!

:My request:

Would it be possible to lift some class restrictions on some of the Disciple of land and hand gear level 60 and 50? Basically not not asking for them to be completely unrestricted but wearable for the Job they were intended for and wearable by Combat jobs as well. This would open an amazing large amount of glamour freedom for players that enjoy making their characters look unique.

(Again i'm not asking for a botanist to be able to wear Miners clothes, but for a Machinist(for example) to be able to wear Miners clothes)

Roles Used: MNK/NIN (Head/Body), CRP (Legs, Feet), ARM (Gloves)

Roles Used: BRD/MCH(Hands/Feet) MCH(Weapon/Legs) MNR (Body) BSM (Head) ALL (Ear)

Job: AST/WHM/SCH

Roles Used: AST/WHM/SCH(Head/Legs), BTN(Body), HYUR(Gloves/Feet)

Job: SCH

Roles Used: SCH (Weapon/Legs/Boots) AST/WHM/SCH (Gloves) ALC (Head/Body)

Job: BRD/MCH

Roles Used: BRD/MCH (Body), LTW(Head/Gloves), FSH (Legs, Feet)

People are always asking for them to remove class restrictions on glamour items, and frankly the only logic behind why they don't, (namely being "too weird to see tanks in caster gear or casters in full armor"), holds absolutely no water when we have seasonal event gear like snowman outfits, bikinis, and other gear like the chocobo suit that have no glamour restrictions....

I'm always a supporter of more options, and while you're being a bit more reserved about how you're presenting it than most, this is one in particular that never made sense to me to be restricted. The ONLY things I can see as being restricted are the artifact gear pieces, as those are usually designed after iconic looks for that class in particular....

The developers have been somewhat lenient on this subject for a few items. To give an example the item Ehcatl wristgloves (and I think all the Artisans gear) were Craft restricted but later they were changed to allow more freedom for glamour.

No need to wish much longer! In patch 2.38 we’ll be making it so the Ehcatl wristgloves can be equipped by all classes.

Also, while on the topic of glamouring, we’ll be removing the “unique” tag off of the Forager’s Hat and Artisan’s Spectacles in patch 2.38 as well, so you can dye them different colors to match your various outfits.

I find the OP request too one-sided.
If DoM/DoW should wear DoH/DoL AF gears, then also let DoH/DoL wear DoM/DoW AF gears

I wouldn't mind seeing the older (level 50) sets opened up to other classes, but ultimately, these pieces are supposed to be unique looks for the classes in question. Opening up crafter/gatherer JSE to others would be like opening up the WHM AF to NIN or something, and I don't think they're likely to do that.

I can agree that glamour needs to be lifted to some degree, if as Op wants the DoH/DoL cless specific gear to be made DoW/DoM wearable as the only addition... only glamour restriction I can se being nice to lift would be make all hand & Leg gear (non relic style gear) from DoW/DoM wearable by each other & DoH/DoL on the grounds that they already have this in-game (see 2 Scion's & those 2 Crafter NPC's in Rev Toll for the old lv50 Master Books) now if getting it all is to much for SE why not just start at the gear from Patch 2.55 back. thou lets be realistic here I bet if they even say anything they'll just say the same thing as last time "But then ppl can't tell the differance" (which even Japanese Players know is complete BS, or at lest they should just they might not be as vocal about it as NA/EU Players)

There really should not be any class restrictions on glamour in this game. I mean, our current situation is this:

Bikini Tank = Okay!
Healer in cloth shirt = Bad!

Tank in Caster Robes = Okay!
Caster in Tank Gauntlets = Bad!

How about putting our casters in a simple shirt or tunic, is it too much to ask? Apparently so!
