    Max text limit on the forums is too small (1000 char?)

    I feel this arbitrary limit is terrible when discussing things in threads and isn't effective as people will just split it into multiple posts making it look far more cluttered.

    It doesn't allow for a concise and well worded argument or detailed explanations. I assume its site wide, but I certainly haven't tried every sub forum.

    I feel it should be removed or greatly enhanced to at least 3000 characters.

    Only if you're using a full web browser. It's not available at all on mobile. Even preview on mobile causes problems because it changes certain characters which add to the character limit. For example a ' becomes a //' in preview. Most annoying.
