Game is going through first time set up again?

Are you running the Steam version of ARR? If so, it is known for often deciding to 'verify' the game files against the version it's OWN system says they should be. If it decides they don't match (they rarely do) then it restores it to vanilla 2.0. =(

The solution is to ensure all the Steam verify options are deselected but you'll still have to let it fully update again.

I'm running the Ps4 version of the game and I have never heard of of this version losing all the patches. I currently have the patch from February 2nd 2015 being redownloaded. Even more so my Ps4 just told me about an hour ago that 3.48 was downloaded despite it actually going live on the 30th and me playing before and after that day.
