    I wanted to make an commandment to my original post but figured if I just edited it, it wouldn't be seen:
    I have also played on the EU and JP servers and I have minimal issues with latency/ping spikes. I get about 1 spike every 2~3 hours on those servers which is to be expected playing on the other side of the world, I imagine.

    Major Latency/Lag issues (PS4)

    Name os ISP: Comcast

    Ticket number: don't have a record of this but I have spoken with Comcast customer service many times and have requested port forwarding and even went so far as to have them DMZ my router per their suggestion. Nothing improved.

    State/Country: PA/USA

    Date/Time: All day long in all areas of the game. Latency issues began for me right when patch 3.1 was released (mid November?). Had never experienced the kind of lag I am experiencing now and I have been playing the game for quite some time.

    Frequency: Constant lag ranging from mild to severe. Rubberbanding will last from moments to many seconds (5-10) in freeze length and sometimes the noticable freezes in gameplay will happen every few minutes or every 10 seconds. There seems to be no rhyme or reason why, when, or for how long these things will happen.

    Content: Lag occurs in ALL parts of the game. I will notice lag in other human players, NPCs, monsters, during dungeons, in duties...whenever and wherever.

    ***I would just like to add that i love playing a realm reborn. I invest more time in this game than any other and am an avid video game player so that's saying something. That being said this issue is really disheartening and I would love to hear some sort of response from SE as to what is being done about it. I will continue to pay to play the game and enjoy it but it has become near impossible to play and enjoy this game that I am paying for monthly when lag during the game is this frequent and severe. Please, Please, Please help us out and let us know when and how this will be resolved or at least that it is being addressed. I appreciate your efforts SE.

    Frequency: Fri-Mon ~6:00pm CST to 9:00 CST is when it's most acute, can happen at all hours though
    Content: Most noticeable in A3S and Thordan

    Traceroute records: Sometimes I will do it and it's fine, other times it hangs at the Montreal Level 3.


    I didn't have any issues when I started playing this almost a year ago, but over the past couple of months it's become a significant problem for me when doing higher-tier PvE. In fact, I've never had lag issues of any kind in any online game until now. For the past couple of weeks in A3S my entire group has been experiencing problems. Pull macros count down all at once, skills don't activate, digititis and tethers don't pass, splash is one hit instead of three or six, pepsiman will just freeze with his arms up doing Protean Wave, nothing will appear on the ground and then it will be sluice. It's incredibly frustrating. I don't know if paying for a VPN will help, but I am ready to do so if it does.

    Frequency (How often does the issue occur?) Daily, specific time period between 7-10

    Content (Which content were you playing in-game when the issue occurred?) Instances, crafting in Uldah, questing, fates - basically - everywhere I happen to be. (also happening to others in my guild, some on my IP, but not necessarily simultaneously. Others in instances have reported the same lag. Mostly spikes.)

    Traceroute records (optional) (Learn how to generate traceroute record) No apparent issues.

    Date/Time Issue began - Late December 2015.

Every day from 6pm-11pm EST, game will stop in place for 3-10 seconds, then all data will come in and game will be in what can best be described as 'fast forward', which can happen in varying frequency from twice a minute to once every ten minute intervals. Also it may come and go during the day on weekends, but not as much.
