Ok I'm no brainiac on a computer but I will explain the best way I can. My internet provider is Time Warner and I am on east coast(Ohio). My whole raid group experienced lag, latency, dcing while we were in Thordan Ex and Diadem Hard. Four of the group are on the west coast and four of us are east coast. Fix the damn problem and I am sorry if its negative but we are paying money to play. I have seen 5 good friends quit because of this and other bullcrap.

Unlike many of the posters here though, this issue is recent for me, not long term; I have had the same ISP for years playing FFXIV and have never run into this issue except for the occasional internet outage/slow down (or when there is a FFXIV server issue!)

Prior to this I never had a problem playing this game. I know it isn't necessarily your problem but anything you can do to put pressure on those last few hops would be great. It seems the issue is somewhere between hops 7, 8 and 9 typically. Most nights it starts right at 9pm EST on the dot so it makes me think there is something scheduled causing the issue on the network. Just a blind hunch.
