Let's be rational here, yes I'm sure many people are staying most likely including myself. But think for a minute, no matter what anyone tries to argue the games already low population will most definitely take a huge hit from having to pay subs next month. No matter who what we all want to think, we all know so many players leaving an already low pop game isn't going to bode well, the thriving I've seen on selbina will probably much less so after the subs start and I'm ok with that I guess because there's nothing we can do about that.

Yoshi seems to have known what he doing so far, let's just see how this goes with far less players. If it indeed does become very low populated as in the past that will probably turn me away from the game, all I'm saying is...maybe it's not the best choice to take at this time, but I'm sure for these next huge updates they need the support so what can we do eh?

See now, if those were real numbers I would respect their decision. But unfortunately it's not and neither we or them will know how that will turn out until the day comes.

Unless the number of willing payers is zero, my point is still valid. And as you can see from these boards, that number will not be zero. Not even close.

The boards are a very small minority of the community, I would never take numbers made on here to heart. And I think you miss the point of my post, all I'm saying is the game will probably go back to feeling dead. And that it's nice gamble they are playing at, but I doubt they have a choice anymore.

So what? Let's say for the sake of argument the number of people who flip on payment is abysmally low. Let's say 5 out of 100 people flip it on. 5x12.99 > 0 1x12.99 > 0 I assume they did teach basic mathematics at the school you went to?

I am not here just because it's free. I bought the game. I was a first-phase alpha tester. I have genuine interest in seeing where this game goes.

I honestly do expect to lose about 50% of the current playerbase when the f2p period is over. F2P attracts a lot of leeches who insist on never paying a dime. Fortunately, I expect the PS3 launch to counteract this and then some.
