    Fishing, red scrips, and folklore..

I looked around to see if this has been answered, but didn't find any so...

I'm well on my way to earning enough blue scrips for my first fishing folklore book, but... I'm having a hard time figuring which book would be most beneficial for red scrip gathering.

Any thoughts? Help would be appreciated greatly.

it's random wich fish you can catch for red scripts, but i think the loosetounge from the dravanian book is the best option.

    I went Dravania>Abalathian>Coerthas though I wouldn't have minded going Abalathian>Dravania>Coerthas alternatively.

Coerthas I would always have left till last though personally.

I agree about coerthas. For red scripts it should be last but for useful fish I think coerthas was the only book that had something useful. Some kind of urchin used in crafting food

With that being said, if it were me, I would buy the Coerthas book first. The reason being that once you hit your 450 weekly cap you could still take the time (if you wanted) to catch some urchin (or whatever it is) for crafting or selling on the MB.

Coerthas book first if you want to power level culinarian desynth. As for red scrip gathering, the 2 most commonly caught fish for red scrips dont require any folklore book. Tiny Axotol in Azys Lla is the god send fish for red scrips, and the thunderbolt eel in the Forelands is good as well.

Don't do it, fishing for red scrips just doesn't work. Unless it's your only gathering class, in which case it would actually be faster to level botanist and miner to 60 than to cap red scrips fishing. That is how bad the catch rate is for red scrip fish.

The catch rate of Tiny Axotols is incredibly high, you just need the correct bait, which in this cae is Brute Leeches. Thunderbolt eels are slightly more troublesome to catch in my experience.

Both axotols and thunderbool eels are really easy to catch with right time/weather and brute leeches. Just is nonsense that needed to level other classes, but i cant deny that it helps having more than one class getting red scrips, personally i find more troublesome keep reaching miner/btn nodes right in time to get the red scrips than just go and fish while doing something else, just get the right line thugs and all is easy.

So for blue scrips folkore book, coerthas and albathia book will give you just 2 new fish each book, dravania will give you 3 fish. It seems that appear more often looosetongue for scrip exchange (dravania), but urchin (coerthas) will help you more as you use in recipes, so if you want just more red scrips i would say dravania book, if you want red scrips and some money go coerthas, for albathia i just have to say that it gives more scrips when it appear, both of the fish from it seems to appear now in the red scrip hunt but being realistic keep caught them with enough collection level is just a pain.
