    Get disconnected from the server while playing the game

    Quite often -- TOO often -- I will be running around randomly, not doing anything in particular, and encounter a server disconnect. This can happen several times per day while playing. I took a screenshot:

    The error is (30002)1318617598,25283976,5

    It's the same error each time. As far as steps to replicate it, there really isn't any; it is very random and might happen mid-fight, might happen just running through town or terrain, on choco or not, etc. - but nothing I can think of is an outright catalyst for its occurrence.

    We would like to apologize for the problems you are experiencing, and would like to let you know that we are investigating this matter further. However for our investigation, we will need further information from yourself, and others, who are receiving this ‘30002’ error. Please reply to this thread, providing answers to the following questions:
    1) User Environment
    1. – Operating System? (IE: WinXP, Vista, Win7, 32bit? 64bit?)
    2. - Antivirus program? (IE: Windows Defender, AVG, etc)
    3. – Internet Service Provider?
    2) Exact Error Message
    3) Frequency of 30002 Error?
    4) What area were you in when the error occurred?
    5) What were you doing when the error occurred? (What type of actions, movements, etc)
    6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred? (Please provide number of party members if you were in a party)
    7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error?
    8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error?

    This information may have been provided previously, but gathering it this format will allow us to pass it allow to the Development Team to find a resolution to this issue.

    Some of this information was already provided in the original post, but here goes:

    1) Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with AVG Free and Verizon FIOS
    2) I attached an exact screenshot of the error message.
    3) Often. I'd say multiple times a day.
    4) It happens in any area: cities, field, wards, and dungeons
    5) I've been running around, on choco, in mid-fight, and even just standing there or /sitting
    6) I've been both solo and in party. Have had up to three others in party with me, usually less.
    7) No way to know this. In the screenshot I attached, there was only two. In towns, considerably more.
    8) When I click Okay in the screenshot, I'm kicked to character selection screen. I cannot immediately log back in; I believe the game thinks I am still logged in. If I back out to the title screen and wait about 30 seconds, I can then proceed forward to the character screen and then choose it to log back online.

    If there's any other info I can provide, just let me know.

    3) Frequency of 30002 Error? 1 time per hour and can varies till 1 time per 10mins
    4) What area were you in when the error occurred? Everywhere
    5) What were you doing when the error occurred? Crafting, running, doing nothing, I got doing all of it.
    6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred? In party and outside of party.
    7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error? 0 and 30 max
    8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error? yes

    Have them check why client side Flow Control breaks the data stream.
