Yeah, it really does depend, even doing The Hunt or Diadem can lead to some incredible levels of salt (as we call it) when someone does something out of turn or pulls before a group gets there
You may not run into rotten eggs often.
But when you do, you will remember them. Because they tend to be REALLY rotten when they are rotten.
Some of the most vile people I've met in games have been in this game. Luckily they're outnumbered by nice and/or quiet people.
Overall, peeps are pretty chill in this game as long as you're honest about your own ability. There are some bad apples but they are few and far inbetween
It depends on the time and content, I think.
Ravana NM, the other day, on the first try near everyone got killed by overlapping purple circles, leaving me and one tank alive. 3 of the dps began cursing in the chat and force-disconected after the death. I raised my co-healer and we brought everyone up again and finished with only one dps. Sometimes people are just in for a faster run, facerolling on the keyboard to get their tomestones and think they can act whatever way they want. The best way to prevent this is to be an encouraging person yourself too. Kindness can create kindness. Be kind.
Coming from PvP games myself, I found the community overall golden and can count the bad apples I encountered ingame on one hand.
But I am purposely avoiding anything competition or high performance related. From my past online game experiences, that's where the drama lies.
The community in game is usually great. This forum is rather hit and miss, lol
Glad you are enjoying yourself![]()
Go read the thread "i so mad cuz i cant deeps without 3rd party tool" - you will slowly realize the toxic disgusting attitudes from WoW are coming here.
