Players attitudes

I am still fairly new to this game, and I came here from WoW, which IMO, has some of the biggest aholes I have ever seen in a game. but I must say, that I have never seen so much patient and helpful attitudes in any other mmo than here. even when the group wipes multiple times in DF, I have only seen words of encouragement. This is the best game ever.

Glad you're enjoying the game. Honestly came into this thread expecting it to see another complaining one, lol. Truthfully, you WILL find players from time to time, (in higher level content in particular), that will be complete *insert derogatory term of your choosing here*, but on average the playerbase in this game is better than most. A word of advice though, keep your head about you and don't get too upset when browsing the forums, as most of the people who visit the forums are the ones who have an opinion about subjects, both good and bad, and will fight tooth and nail to defend their opinion, lol.....

EDIT: Though now that I think about it, even here on the forums people tend to be a bit more civilized when compared to the forums of other games I've played.....

the more people are in the group the higher the chance they will be assholes.

in 4 man content they will almost every time be friendly. in 8 man content they will be assholes. and in 24 man content they will be... uhm... you want to just turn off the chat sometimes xD

It depends what level you're at I think, the toxicity at level 60 content & PvP is so high, it's no worse than League of Legends toxicity from my personal experience

Nah, I'm too busy having to try and solo kill two knots in Void Ark as a MCH to worry about what people in the chat are saying, lol. I'll admit, that I tend to have a bit less patience in 24 player content than I do in 4 and 8 man content, particularly after something's been out for a few weeks. If you catch me complaining in a run, you can usually just ignore it because I'm just venting.....

As someone who only runs BRD in Void Ark... I know this pain all too well.

You will still find people who have negative attitudes but it does seem much more rare in the DF low lvl dungeons now a days. Most everyone is helpful and kind
