and actually the I200-210 wep can be consiered kind off the relic right ?

but here is my question, if the relic will need I210 wep, i can clearly see in the following days lot of drama, and in opposite, if need the I200 wep, whats the point on getting the 210 ?

That is not gonna happen unless SE allows us to upgrade our weps outside of savage. Even then, I feel like it's gonna be 2.xx again where we have to make it again.

I think I can see where the confusion stems from. 2.0's Jobmasters had both the artifact set and the relic weapons. But I think that might be more because 2.0's Artifact Gear and Relic Weapons are one and the same. Yet for 3.0 the Artifact 2 Weapons are now sold for Esoteric Tomestones. But since only the very first step of the 2.0 relics required the double-capped tomes instead of the so-called "uncapped" tomes at the time, it seem a little improbably (not impossible) that the 3.0 relic would require Law

Put simply in 2.0, the Relics were also the artifact weapons, but in 3.0 the Relics and Artifacts are now separate weapons and there seems to be no indication that SE would gate the new relics behind the weekly cap (yet).

No you build the Relic weapon. Raids are not a part of the relic weapon quest line what so ever. The closest is buy a crafted weapon with some materia on it. We wont need a 200 or 210 for it.

No need to worry then. You never need to do any Extreme/ Savage content. The closest was HM primals in 2.0 but we dont have any equivalent to that in 3.x yet so probably just a grindfest.

Since the relic is the alt to raiding, the most I could see it requiring is the Antiquated version but definitely not the A4S version.

I doubt even that, though.

Well this relic sounds like its going to be well easy at the moment.

The whole point of relic weapons since 2.x was to serve as a non-raid equivalent weapon for the folks not cool enough to keep up with current raids, so I'd have to say you're dreaming if you think Alex Savage is going to be involved with the process in any way.

In all likelihood it's going to start from something crafted along with a quested key item, just like 2.x relics were.
