So I've been keeping tabs on these topics and they all sound the same. It sounds like it comes down to two things:

1. Re-Skins not being available in game, but for money
2. Future of items being implemented for Cash Shop

Mostly the former than the latter. For what reason? Because these people complaining also want the mount, but don't want to spend extra money on it. Now that's your decision to do so, much like it's people who wish to buy the mounts without a care in the world. Playing Devil's Advocate, why not pay the extra money to help support SE's future(seeing we know XIV's success is being used for other projects anyway)? People will complain one way or another even if it was in-game. Ponies were asked twenty times over to be raised on rates. People complained about Twintania being available through Recruit a Friend(not cash Shop, but hey, not in game. SE is evil).

As other posters mentioned, all you did was pay for a membership to access the club. What other additional features that are in the club may or may not be included. You have perhaps years of content potentially at your disposal for your subscription, so, what is the issue for a business trying to make a little extra, I wonder? As I mentioned to some people in game, it's literally a day's worth meal at best unless you're being super saving with cash(which playing XIV may not be in the best of interests).
