People NEED to understand something, it is OPTIONAL. You don't HAVE to have it , you don't HAVE to have it and you don't HAVE to pay for it.
It is OPTIONAL....
I am gonna buy it cause I like it . It's my choice as I'm not bothered as to how much it is. I don't have to have it but I want it.
Everytime.
It would incline rush parties to be invented often in that place, also having new players being forced (more) to skip cutscenes. Good move imoAny reason that you have to pay for it instead of taking advantage of the new Undersized party feature in Heavensward and making it an insanely low drop rate from Castrum Meridianum's Livia Sas Junius? (I'm talking like 1%-5%)
Maybe give us something to farm while waiting for resets, either on our own or with parties, AND an optional recolor mogshop mount? (not having the white in mogshop and having a red and a different color in the shop)

Even though that's a slippery slope I still think it's a reasonable slippery slope argument. As making cosmetic things really hard to get would increase impatient people to buy. But that's business IMO. And as I said hopefully the ingame items you obtain can have something very tiny special added to it. Like white mount you buy? Same as in game... Except in game let's you shoot out of it and you get a afterburner effect when you fly. That way even if you DO make it 1,300 castrum runs. There is still a reason to get it in game. And those who play the longest will get that reward slowly but surely
I don't feel that taking an issue at hand and making the situation over 15x worse in one fell swoop is a reasonable slippery slope. It's just a cliff used to push people off in order to say you are right and they are wrong.
Not saying this that these mounts shouldn't drop from bosses but...exactly how many people are actually running the current Primals for ponies now?
I mean, a short term bump in their play wouldn't be a bad thing but eventually it would tapper off anyway.
it was very much worth every dime =D I know very well what I do with my money. Rent, Bills, food costs, I then budget for "entertainment" that entails game subs (Since I'm currently subbed to WoW as well), movie theaters, new video games, or anything else that I'll enjoy. Said cash shop things on occasion when there's nothing else that interests me might get bought up. Just because I buy a mount from cash shop, doesn't mean I'm not handling my money intelligently. All of you people that "hate" the "cash shop" seem to be incapable of comprehending the fact of personal budgeting. Don't like it, don't buy it, but NOTHING gives you the right to judge other people for THEIR personal entertainment costs.Just want to pop in to say that the red and white Magitek mounts are the most hilarious status symbols I've ever seen. You are literally riding around on a mount you spent 20$ on that everyone else in the game got for free, but in a different color. All this shows is that you have no idea what you're doing with your money and will literally buy anything SE shells out. I hope it was worth it.
All this crap is because you guys made a huge commotion about GIMME FANTASIA NOW.... Remember.
Now you pay the price, this is what ppl warned you guys about, so don't complain.
It your own faults, I am sure we can find 90% of your names, the ones complaining, supporting the GIMME FANTASIA NOW threads.
We said that would comeback to haunt you.
You guys opened pandoras box. So stop complaining and pay for what you want now.
I think the reason SE hasn't put these mounts in Cast/Prae (besides $$$) is because if they did, people would complain that "Ugggh I had to run Praetorium 9,000 times and can't get the mount to drop!" or "Waaah I have to grind like crazy to hit 300 Prae runs to get this stupid mount. WHY CANT I JUST BUY IT." We hate grinds and we hate abysmal drop rates but when the thing is introduced to the cash shop, these are suddenly the things people want!
Making this a Castrum Meridianum drop would be horrible. People we farm it just like the EX primes, which would only worsen the experience for new players as they could well get kicked for slowing down farm groups.
I don't really get all the hate towards people buying cosmetics in a cash shop. I could choose to spend a grand in the cash shop every year and barely notice it financially, so who cares? I really doubt anyone is doing it to be "better" than the next person, and I can sympathize with completionists wanting to keep the comprehensive set of mounts or cosmetic glamour gear.
Seriously, people spend more money on much sillier things than this.
