What has S.E. said about the suggestion of adding right-click > Report system?

I'm sure it has been suggested multiple times but I want to know what's S.E.'s stance on introducing another entry to the right click menu on players to report them and state what they are reporting the players for? Wouldn't it make things a lot easier for them to find the bots?

would help ps players it is way cumbersum to report rmt spam, botters etc.

I don't think it's been directly responded to at all, other than telling us to just use the help desk>report feature, which isn't really responding to the NEED for this sort of basic client function at all

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it's been put in the 'too hard' pile, like a lot of other seemingly simple QoL fixes and requests. (Chocobos with DF, TP display for a long time etc)

That kinda sucks if it's put on the "too hard to implement" list. I've already made a template that I just fill up with the player's name and spam but having the right click option would make things a lot easier and save people the time of copying and pasting.

Its probably more that right now, with it being more then just a few clicks means that people who use it are almost positive it is something reportable. After all if you find it too much of a hassle to report it, it probably isn't something that should be reported right now.

Again I still think they should change it to right click --> report anyways.

It may not be too much of a hassle the 1st and 2nd time, but this is something that happens often enough to become a hassle to go through that process every time you get a RMT tell.

A part of me can't even understand how an old MMO like Runescape, of all things, can have a right click report system but Final Fantasy XIV cannot. (Even though I heard Runescape got rid of it, but that's another can of worms I'd rather not open)

I think it would be a waste of time to add that function.

I would much rather have a better filter and options to shut off friends list like the invisible mode like in ffxi this would prevent them from sending friends request.
