Ninja vs warrior. (Spolers for ninja quest line if never finished it)

Anyone get the distinct impression that SE wanted to leave an the view that the warrior is the boss job of the game when the leader of the pirate gang Rosilande just chains down the ninja villian and cuts him down?

I died a little on the inside when I just finished the questline for the ninja job with a warrior slaying the build up for the villian when it should have been the job for the assassin.
