Can't access all Heavensward Content

Hey guys! I recently purchased the HW expansion for the PS3 and input the promo code on the PSN as instructed. However when I launched the game afterward and logged in, I noticed I couldn't access all features. For instance, I can't access the Au Ra race, its still grayed out on the character screen. The main launch screen also didn't update. Since I'm not caught up to HW content wise I can't check if there was any issue there. The only thing that seemed to work was that I was earning exp past lvl 50. Any ideas whats going on or what I can do to fix it? As of this writing I"m reinstalling the client to see if that works. Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully help me out

Okay tried reinstalling and that didn't fix it Any ideas or tips would be wonderful

need to be entering the license key, not a promo code. Have you checked Mogstation yet?

Yes I checked mog station and it says i have the license for it. I'm just confused because why can i gain more exp but be locked out of the au ra race?

May not have physically installed? Don't use a console so don't know if it has a similar option, but on the PC version we had to go into config from the launcher and toggle an option to automatically install expansion files.

I don't think that would work for me. One theory I have is that I'd have to "reinstall" HW by using the disc, but I unfortunately can't because my disc drive is busted . Though that doesn't explain my ability to gain exp, which I shouldn't be able to do if HW isn't installed and working properly. I did enter the license and attempted the download during a maintenance, maybe that effected the download? Or maybe I'm just an unfortunate victim of a newly discovered glitch

My guess is that you probably have to still install the expansion files. Putting in the activation code would just get you access to content that had to be installed even for those who didn't have HW when it first came out. So if you bought a physical copy of HW, you do indeed need to use the disc to install it.

i think you would have reinstall with the disc or buy it from psn store and reinstall from there. or i know few ps4 user myself included had an issue where we had to go setting> network/account management> restore licenses to get the HW to work. um on ps3 account management > transaction management> i would check transaction history and download list and services list to see if it ever installed.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'll try seeing about finding it in the settings on my system. I went ahead and put in an order for a replacement disc drive to fix my busted one just in case I really do need the disc. Hopefully things will be in working order soon. Again, thank you guys for replying! I got nowhere with customer support and google results brought up nothing useful.

I think... When you logged in, if the opening screen is HW then you have it installed, if it is still ARR then you don't have HW content installed yet.

Check the option to see if HW content is automatically installed. The option is on Launcher.
