11/24 Hotfix Gear Missing

Mist Gear 210 Hands BiS by far. On gear set list. Not on Retainer, In their inventory, my inventory, my armory. Gone. Downloaded up date logged in and gone. Gearset items can't be traded in; I tried to duplicate that possibility today. i204 BLM so I have no reason to get rid of my raiding gear when it's BiS. What could possibly have happened? Any GM have the ability to look into and possibly remedy this issue? Frustrating grinding Diadem to lose gear.

You can turn in gear that's part of a set for Spoils. You cannot turn it in if you have it equipped though.

Yup Sayora that's exactly what happened. I like how time and effort don't matter; just the monthly sub fees. Was it really that hard to copy the turn in system of the GC? I'll answer it for you, no. It's a basic fetch and retrieve programming result that of which was apparently too difficult to do on a coffee break >.>

If you can't bring something to market the correct way then you need to higher another person or fire the terd in charge that doesn't ensure these kinds of things are ironed out. I get that a boss mechanic might be messed up as there are so many things going on but a simple turn in system, really?

Here comes another hotfix w/ apologies but still those that have traded in gear not realizing there are no safety nets as there are in other turn in instances are rewarded with nice work, too bad, cry us a river. o/

I doubt tonight's hotfix will address that issue at all.
It'll probably be in 3.15 or even later. Without apologies.

I don't know... when I get paid money I'm expected to do my job completely. Seems to be an ok standard to do things half-assed. I propose the developers do exactly what they're getting paid to do and replace those who would rather be on Facebook o youtube during their work day >.>

Patch 3.1 has been not only the most bugged and full of unacceptable issues patch ever, but also the one that took the longest to be released (5 months since 3.0, compared to 3 months or less during the 2.X era)

Could they did the system better? Yes but on the other hand you getting mad at SE cause you traded in all your gear not paying attention to which gear you were trading?
