it was a prediction not a statement, you look at every thread like these your on the front page with nothing useful to say. i guess having a different opinion than yours = trolling? yea i can do that to. learn what a troll is, or better yet just look in the mirror.
my house is in rebuilding stage. this house is very small and in unpopular area.
the roof, floors, plumbing, and gas are all broke.
my landlord fired the original crew. for not completing the job on time
the new crew comes in and makes all kinds of promises, and shows me pics.
now for next year i have to wait for them to finish the job.
should I move to a more popular, bigger house rent it for same price?
or stay in the part of my house that is not being rebuilt. but still pay same rent as others.
Its actually 1 day away from Necro.... Today is the 13th... there is a 1 month necro requirement... lol
To the OP... are you sure the error message didn't read "Why the hell are you doing the Darkhold after 1.19?"
I've been playing since launch and I've never had a corrupted patch.
Neither have I... but since since the OP is an "IT" you have to know that with anything you download from ANY site, you always run the risk of the downloaded file being corrupt. Come on...
It could be anything from your ISP, packet loss, RAM, HDD...
Neither I, nor anyone I know have had that problem, so throwing accusations (on a problem that could very well not be SE's fault) is kind of irresponsible...
But then again, here we are on an internet forum talking about responsibility... that's my bad
me neither, but those things does happen, it's just the nature of PC in generally, you have a crap ton of variables all the way from your connection to hdd that can cause these issues.
edit: great, now rydin just have to go and beat me to make my post look redundant :P
@OP You might want to check your hard drive for bad sectors if you haven't already
My brother downloaded the game through torrent because I damaged my install disk and he wanted to use my buddy pass and he had the same problem. Maybe try buying the game and see how that goes. :P
Cause that's what he ended up doing and everything was fine.
Yeah, I've clean installed XIV on so many PCs for friends/family/stores that I've yet to encounter an issue.
You're still the man though
sure you didnt get your patch download off a torrent?
IT poeople dont ask for tech help in gameforums >.>
