Should Unsynced content give rewards?

I'm talking specifically about Ex Primals being run Unsynced, and being able to obtain the Pony mounts from them.
To me it seems kind of silly because you obtain something as special as a mount for clearing content that isn't truly hard when you have over 10k HP. It's also a shame because alot of NEW people won't get to encounter all the epic fights against these primals in a normal and balanced way.

So I wanted your opinion, should unsynced even drop loot? As long as it does, no one will run synced old content, which is MUCH funner than killing an epic primal in 3 minutes.

What's the fun in a raised level cap if I have to get rid of all my new new abilities and my new rotation everytime I want to run something that isn't level 60.

Years from now when we're level 80 or whatever I'd rather not have to lose years worth of abilities just to go get a pony

To be honest I think that highlights more an issue with the sync system itself. I'd be all up for fighitng EX primals if we could also sync them to our levels and scale for number of players. Might be a tad much to code, though.

And it's "fun" to smack a giant human rock or a giant sea serpent in 3 minutes without a challenge, and get rewarded for doing nothing?

You're not going to waste the rest of your life on this, Im just saying that extreme primals, should be, well, extreme primals in a sense that you cant just faceroll it, and it brings you an actual challenge that you get rewarded for. You dont have to "get rid of" your new abilities, thats a pretty harsh word. By the looks of it your issue is with syncing in itself.

EX primals haven't been "balanced" for awhile now. Most of them were disgustingly easy before we even got 60 cap.

It's outdated content. If you couldn't run it unsynced, there'd just be more of a market to sell it.

I would not call them disgustingly easy. I cleared them, you cleared them, but I know I had a blast fighting them, and i'd fight them again just for the heck of it.
It brought a challenge to everyone new, that was difficult enough to give them a thrill, and not seem too impossible. However as long as you can just run this unsynced, that experience
is no longer available which is a shame. 7 primal fights that are really fun and a nice challenge are never run synced, because hey, you get the same reward for doing it unsynced.

Even back at 50, Garuda, Titan, leviathan, and shiva were pushovers. Unsynced just makes the fights quicker, they were already brain dead easy when we were in i120+

Yes, there should be rewards for unsynched. Once content is an expansion old, it should be virtually soloable so people who could not experience it before can now with an increased level cap.

If people aren't doing something, it's because they don't enjoy doing it. You don't need rewards for something you enjoy doing because the enjoyment you get just from doing it is an intrinsic reward itself.

Therefore, it is safe to say that the majority of people does not consider these fights "fun".

There's minimal iLv sync if you really want your challenge that badly. If there were no rewards for doing unsynced content, no one would do them anyway, synced or not.

There's also a reason why they put the primal item drops like the Kingly Whisker in the treasure coffer, because no one was doing Thornmarch EX.

I'd argue that there is nothing more fun or satisfying than getting revenge on Titan EX by blasting him to pieces with fire 4 spam. That's some good entertainment right there.
