Its starting to get bad. I just got finished healing a fresh dungeon with two black mages who casted in sync and moved around at the same time and spot in a dungeon. The tank had a wth moment with me. Does se even care that people who even admits to have used a bot for gaining all of their relics and hundreds of millions in gil have never once been banned in the years ive played this game. A program that automates your rotation is now becoming common in the game as well.

Are you 100% sure they were bots and not multi-boxers? There are programs that while lying in a grey area allow you to ghost your keyboard strokes between multiple instances of the game and play multiple characters at once without actually automating anything.

I don't see a multi boxer being able to dodge mechanics so perfectly as these did during the bee boss in the new dungeons. It didn't help they said nothing the entire time. How would someone be able to dodge the bees with such precision.

And even if it was a multi user they should still suffer the same punishment as bots do. Why should se reward cheating and punish others by not enforcing their own rules. When someone can gloat about using a bot to automate the dumb grind part of a relic and not get a ban after doing it constantly for two years is apparent se will overlook such infractions as long as you ate not a gil spammer.

I once healed a multi-boxing ninja pair in DD that were good enough to get through the entire dungeon from right after the first boss to right before the last boss (when a new tank joined) without a tank. We wiped a couple times on the second boss. That was about it. I know it was multi-boxing and not botting because the player admitted to it and chatted throughout the dungeon, as well as just having generally inconsistent performance depending on what was going on (i.e. playing like a human, not a bot).

Is it, though? Having alts in FFXIV past level 30 is only 'an advantage' in that it allows you to keep playing after weekly lock outs. It doesn't really help you in any way mechanically, other than having some extra free retainers (which you don't need them past level 30 to get).

Its possible you see those bots in diablo 2?

They can run the whole acts 1-5 and kill things and pickup things and blizzard doesn't know how to stop them.

Same thing could be said about FFXIV I am sure there are people who are doing it and it would be hard to figure it out. You cant just go this dudes a bot because they look like any other person.

Also they can reply while botting so who knows.

Two accounts at 50 can get you two houses, two FCs and consequently two FC houses. Two geared accounts at 60 will give you twice the chance of getting loot such as coffin lids, minions or trade-able goods in dungeons.

I'd call those things an advantage.

I'd actually be pretty impressed if someone can navigate two accounts during Void Ark.

I mean I agree I don't think multiboxing should be allowed but...doesn't change the fact that it'd be impressive.
