    Dungeon Idea: The Phantom Train

Quest: The Great Train Robbery (Central Thanalan, X:20/Y:18 approx)

The premise of this dungeon is that the Garleans have come into possession of some aether crystals, and they are being transported via one of their phantom trains, however the train is hijacked by a void mage set on stealing the aether crystals. The WoL is then recruited to stop the train and foil the plans of the void mage. As the train is small, the dungeon will consist of portals scattered around the train taking them in and out of the void, with the mobs consisting of voidsent bleeding through from the void.

    Bosses:
    1. Gerogero: A shambling zombie-like voidsent that inflicts various status attacks on the party. The party fights him in a carriage just before entering the void for the first time.
    2. Riftwalker: A powerful succubus met inside the void, uses void magic. Defeating her will open up a portal to the phantom trains engine room.
    3. Void Mage: The void mage thief, he is fought in the room containing the aether crystals. He uses magic, and spawns voidsent.

Upon his defeat, the Void Mage, dying, uses the aether crystals in the room to transform the train into the "primal" Doomtrain, the player heads forward and begins the battle against...

    4. Doomtrain: The front carriage in the train, made sentient by the void mage, this battle is fought on two platforms, one on top of the train, and one in front of the train. The players must move between the platforms to avoid his attacks. He has two attacks that should be avoided at all costs, saintly beam, which is avoided by using spring pads to move from the bottom platform to the top platform, and diabolic whistle which will deal damage based on your proximity to the whistle (located on the top platform). Throughout the fight, voidsent will also be spawned and must be killed. To defeat Doomtrain, the player must destroy the two funnels located on the top platform, and his face, located on the bottom platform, this will reveal his core, which will begin casting self-destruct, a DPS check enrage, that if not met will wipe the party.

Let me know what you think of the idea, and any improvements that could be made
