Zalera is even quieter than Goblin is but I don't mind it. The community is really tight and easy to integrate into, pretty much everyone is up for helping others out in some way. There's a a lot of hunters too despite the server size and when hunts aren't being called in the linkshells, it's full of socializing. On that note about hunts, joining together with a late night crew to 8 man an S rank is really fun and challenging. But yeah, Zalera might be a casual and small server, but I'm content with playing there.

Yes, I've taken on some S rank hunts with 6-8 people and it's honestly a blast. It's actually a challenge to figure out the mechanics of the hunt instead of a blur of flashes and lag.

And as a random but fun note as to one of the reasons I love Goblin. Yesterday one of my FC mates started dancing in limsa and when I logged on, he asked me to join. Both of us were wearing our skimpiest gear we had and got a crowd going. Some joined in the skimpy dancing, other's surrounded and cheered/clapped. One was even giving us small amounts of gil (it was quite funny) and calling us her strippers :3 Our FC house neighbor happened to be there and saw us and responded with "Imagine having these guys living next to you -_-"

I love that random happenstances will occur and that people can easily recognize you or your tag (and we're a small FC).

With that many transfer transactions happening a month I cant imagine SE would be merging anytime soon. It would be bad business to offer a service for free that they are currently generating 180k a month on in revenue.
