I googled it and got mixed results.
Yea, that's a bit of a toughie question. Me personally, I've put all my attribute points into STR. It helps me keep enmity better as well as helps clear out enemies quicker. But it can be a double edged sword if you don't understand how your role functions (or if you have a subpar healer with you). It's probably best you go with VIT at first. As ruskie said, you can respec for 250 GC seals if you want to try something out later. And with the roulette's, you should have no problem with seals. And if you craft or gather, seals come in real quick from the daily provisioning turn in's.

As for DRK, just be a bit careful. It's a much tougher learning curve than the other 2. Part of this is because you come with a full arsenal of move sets right away. Unlike the other classes, the HW classes start you at 30 and give you all the move sets up to that level. So instead of intimately learning each move as you get it leveling, you all of a sudden have 10+ moves that you need to know well in order to do your job as a tank.

As you play as a tank, you will learn fairly quickly how important keeping aggro is. Each class role (DPS, Healer, Tank) have very different dynamics to them. You could run some dungeons or bosses a million times on one class, then realize you have zero clue how to run it as another. I myself have barely touched DRK, but from what I've heard, it's probably the most complex of the tanking classes to learn (but I have heard it's very fun). Provoke would be nice, but I think you'll be ok as long as you use unleash plenty.

That's pretty terrible. We had an hour queue one time for CT trying to help someone get a clear, we finally gave up lol. Never had a queue for a regular dungeon take that long though :/

At least your almost to 60 it looks like

Yes, there is sooooo much content at 60 honestly. As for interesting... well, that's i guess up for personal taste. Some are ridiculous, others are really fun though. If you have not done the manderville quest line however, I would highly suggest that. It's not lvl 60 though (i forgot what level you can start doing it, but you are definitely past it). It's the only side story quest line that I absolutely refuse to skip through for any reason. I find them so amusing.

As for raids and such, I myself am just really getting into them. I get easily distracted... and usually have the need to finish a quest if I see it before moving on. But as for hard mode primals and extreme mode, you gotta go back to the waking sands... yes. The Waking. Fricking. Sands. Ugh.

So much grinding for the Anima weapons.

Cant stand grinding for days upon days on end for one quest so ill not bother doing that questline, grinding is annoying, especially if the drop rates are as low as the game suggests that they are.

Also, why is flying blocked behind the aether current system? -_-

I feel like playing the game at max level now will be a pain in the ass instead of fun, it feels like i have to run all over 6 maps to unlock flying to keep myself relevant and to do bosses, much less the quest for the weapon.

Eh, it's more so trying to give those who rush through things abnormally quickly something that will actually keep them occupied for a while. But unfortunately, what will take those people 1 week to finish, will sadly take more casual players a month. Or longer. I still haven't gotten my novus relic and I started that like, 2 months ago. But that's more so because I got distracted when my FC leader started yelling at me to hurry up and finish ARR content lol.

The only thing that kept me occupied in this game was the interesting story and side quests with good stories behind them, not the PvE content or the minimal grinding i had to do to get to the next story quest.

I am not the sort of person who logs in doing stuff thats absolutely neccesary like dailies, thats not fun for me, the fun stuff is the good boss encounters with the interesting mechanics, getting rewarded for it is a very minor thing for me, i feel like im doing something good for the world when i beat them.

It pisses me off how i have to get past weeks worth of grindwalls to get to said encounters, idc if the content gets done quickly, its the epic encounters for me and the story and the characters, thats why i play the game.

Oh well, ill continue to level Dark Knight out of interest for the class i suppose.

You don't really have to grind that hard unless you're the more impatient type xD Capping esoteric tomes is pretty easy, just do lv60 expert like 4 or 5 times each week (~2 hrs a week).

And, as much as I dislike what they did with relics this time around, it's not too bad really. I got monk from 51 to nearly 59 over the weekend doing fates (for crystals) and dungeon running in between. I was betting I'd hit 60 before I got all the crystals but they came pretty quick I guess, and I wasn't really grinding that hard (5-10 fates, break, dungeon, break, 5-10 fates, break, etc). So aside from getting pretty much a free 60 for the crystals, now when I run alex umpteen million times I'll at least have enough tokens to gear every class in 190 (no need for law gear anymore), so it kinda works out to be fairly beneficial.
