They aren't going to do it and this seems pretty evident from yoshis comments. I wouldn't waste time DF the thing. PF all the way. Getting a group of people with the same goals is absolutely necessary to getting the most out of the diadem. Saying "well they should fix it" is nice and all but they don't see it as broken, so in all likelihood they aren't going to make any game changing or extensive a changes to it ATM. The reality of the situation is if you want to get the most out if it you're going to have to PF it. The problems you have are defined by the nature of a cross server DF in itself which lends to unpreparedness and ambiguity in goals and motivations on NA data centers.

Not to mention making PF gathering parties is way easier than making PF mob killing parties. I mean sure they HAVE mob killing parties, but it usually comes with some ridiculous rules to make the organizers life easier.

PF gathering parties don't always fill, and that's a situation where you absolutely have to have 8/8 before you go in or you really will ruin someone's day. Imagine being the one poor sot that queued solo and landed in a 7/8 gathering party. If you got to 5/8 or 6/8 in a hunting party and were still waiting, you could just queue up. As far as "ridiculous rules" on PF parties to make the organizer's life easier... well, they're the ones taking the time to organize the party. If you want to set the rules, make your own.

I know what you're going to say. Use Party Finder or do it with your FC. Well, sure, but both of those have also failed not to mention since it IS in the DF and you COULD fix it, why not do it?

Duty Finder always has been (and always will be) a place where you don't know what you're going to end up with. If you want 8 people guaranteed to be on the same page, you really should put together a Party Finder and be clear about the requirements.

Other good inclusions: Let parties invite "stranded" members from other parties.

This is actually a pretty good suggestion, not sure how much of a bear it would be to code though.

If she's having issues with PF, then the group organizer is likely not being clear about what the party is for. Either that or they're just ending up with jerks, which will happen from time to time despite your best efforts. The best you can do is blacklist them and move on.

Honestly, there's already 3 or 4 threads about Diadem on the front page alone, so the entire thread "was not needed."

No, it's not too much to ask at all. It's actually a very reasonable request. Honestly, I think 90% of the problems that people have in PF could probably be solved or avoided in their entirety if they would just read the comments before joining.
