    The launcher is actually reporting the right boot version. The bootstrap hasn't updated since 11/05 (you can verify that in the ffxivboot.ver file).

    Make sure you are launching as admin. The files are installed in a protected programs folder by default, and may need elevation for overwriting and such. This is a common issue many overlook.

    May also need to check your ffxivpatch.ver and ffxivpathc.bck files under the game folder. There could be a mismatch in the dates. If so, set them both to the earlier date.

    The downloads themselves may have gotten corrupted during download. You can try clearing them out manually to see if you get a fresh pull again. They are located in your Documents/My Games folder, nested within the FFXIV folder there. They will be in the downloads folder. After a successful patching, there should be nothing left in any of the subfolder except a patch.info file. If anything is in those enumerated patch folders, try clearing them out and try again.

    So in FFXIV -> downloads -> ffxivpatch -> 4e9a232b -> patch
    I have two files: H2014.05.27.0000.0000a.patch I also have H2014.05.27.0000.0000a.patch.info

    In FFXIV -> downloads -> ffxivpatch -> 6b936f08 -> patch
    I have: D2015.11.19.0000.0000.patch.info

    Are any of these an issue?

    I had a friend tell me to put my comptuer on ethernet instead of wireless, because apparently he had the issue and that fixed it, so I'm trying that now currently.
