Certain NPC hairstyles should be available for players...somewhere. [3.1 spoiler]

Sometimes I feel like male characters get the short-end of the stick with hairstyles. There are certain hairstyles that npcs have that are super super cool that I think should be available to players. It's really obvious how many nice hairstyles there are for female character models...

And I'm a female player complaining about the male designs...

Two I'd really really REALLY want (and would even ) are Aymeric's hair and Thancred's new hair. When I saw him appear again...not only was I like OMG THANCRED I was like "Damn, that's the hair I was searching for for my character!" (in my heart of course >>).

So yeah, I'd like SE to make some of these available.
I think there are other NPC-specific things that should be made available somehow 'cause they are just THAT COOL. (I'd pay for Aymeric's armor too /cough cough)

Yes... Thancred's hair... I had his old hair, and it's a running joke among my friends that I'm his twin... so I need to get his new hair to continue with the trend... Q.Q

Sadly that IS what they are doing. Too much emphasis on the cash shop these days.

Personally I think they want the Scions to have unique hair. They are all changing styles now.

Since Minfi is MIA possibly dead, I'm willing to bet her hair will be styled differently if she returns.

Yet when it comes to the male hair styles in particular they look exceptional - and we can't use them. It's a real shame especially since when we get new hair styles quite a lot of them are quite clearly designed to fit both models or seem more suited to the female model in some cases.

It's easier to make a unique hairstyle for a specific character, since you can design it with potential clipping in mind to avoid. With that said, I dont think we'll ever get the scion hairs, unless they go through another appearance change in the future. They seem to want them to be unique (which Im all behind) after just looking like any old character in the game previously. I'd imagine that's why they started selling their outfits and minfilia's hair in the mog station- anyone who's caught up in the story won't be seeing those designs on the npcs anymore

The short hair options for males are ugly and the long hair ones are also kinda ugly.
Females have so many more options. I have a female alt just so I can have my one character with cute hair and clothes that I like...

Female character hair selection list for every race is longer than the male ones with different options.
The Male ones are mostly the same shit with very little variation for races.
I would never play a highlander though >> Not my thing...if I'm gonna play a male character, gonna play one that I like looking at.
