Learn to utilize GC turn ins and don't try to do it all at once.

Gathering classes are among the fastest to level, especially at 50+ where you can do collectibles. o.O

Use some GC seals to buy a few Survival Manual II from your grand company and find something to grind for a little while. You can make a decent amount of money while you level. Like the poster above me stated, do your daily GC turn ins.

Yes, I need maybe 1 h for lvl 40-41.

Maybe you aren't doing things right.

Are you using exp food ?
Are you using Gathering food ? (less fails = more exp)
Is your gear all the time up-to-date ?
Are you doing your leves, setting their levels at +3 or +4 (requieres a good gear) ?
Are you turning-in HQ items at your GC everyday ?
Do you use your FC gathering buff ?

When you have no leves left and you have to gather for good, try to farm ores, they sell the best and it's a good incentive to keep gathering.

The path to 50 can be quite boring, but 50-60 does take very little time (the leves at that level give an enormous amount of exp) and can be done in a few hours. Don't give up.

OP is likely referring to 1-40 which is a real grind. Leveling from 50-60 is a joke due to collectibles and company issue survival manuals. So much so that i think you have forgoten where you came from (probably a long time since got to MIN/BTN 50). It was made pretty clear to me when i recently leveled 2 Alts so that i could stockpile redscrips. 1-50 is no joke. It just takes too long.

OP is right that the grind from 1-50 is absurdly long in comparison to the 50-60 grind. You would think that with all the shortcuts we were given in HW that they would have nerfed the gathering grind or at least incorporated another means of obtaining gatheirng exp. Sadly, its just as time consuming leveling a miner as it was in 2.0 when this game was released. I think thats an issue.

IDK, I leveled MIN and BOT to 60 on an alt without hardly gathering a thing.

You get one GC turn in a DAY, don't act like that's an answer to everything.
And that one GC turn in doesn't cover a survival manual 2.

You technically can do 50-60 in 4 hours (using levees), but then you have to save up levees all month just for that.

And not everyone is rich enough to buy gear every 2 levels like you guys.
(oh I know go farm more and sell it, but not all servers have good prices on gathering items.)

Also, you guys seem to just be arguing with the OP, coming inwith an air of "oh I'm so great, I did this so the system is perfect"
How about you guys stop trolling, and put up ways to help make the system better?

Anyways OP, it is very long grind compared to crafting. Then red scripts are a lot tougher as well. All around gathering is very much a chore.
