I would be a little alright with that due to a certain TT card being gated by a certain FATE in the Forelands
That said, I think the Hinterlands will be right out for similar reasons to N. Thanalan and E. La Noscea, The entirety of Coerthas too maybe
This. Entirely. No one really bitched about the original relic did they? (up to i90. Maybe at worst someone was sad they had to choose because they could only get the i80 version but... that's about it.)
It's the stupid grind they put after the awesome quest for the original relics that people hated.
Also, it must be said that the Nexus step (side note: I personally never made it past the books; just lost all interest, especially when I saw what entailed the Novus step) was a sly way to fix the imbalance of the original hunts. The Hunts gave you EVERYTHING (except atma); so much so that people queued for instances less and just simply focused on hunting. I mean, take the 20-40 minutes or so of a dungeon vs 20-40 minutes or so of hunting and you were definitely going to get more tomes or rewards out of that. Nexus light farming forced people back into dungeons and instances, further backed by the huge nerf to hunts. This may not be concrete truth, but it's really not hard to connect the dots and see it for what it really was.

It all fell apart from the atma bs stage.
And yes those of you who have not done it when first introduced have no idea, lol

So a chance roughly 4 times a week per drop.

I will agree I wish it was do Extreme primals so theres a challenge, but still fun.
This is a joke right? Those mobs only spawn a few times a week. Rather then being able to progress through the relic quest at your own pace you will have to be lucky enough to be online when one of them spawns.
I don't spend my entire day online so this seems like an extremely bad idea.
It'll be Diadem related. A big part of it anyway.

How about the item that begins the relic will drop from odin or behemoth fate? Like atmas, you have to keep killing him to get it?
Sounds like it might work right? :P
Next step involves running satasha normal for a 1% chance from last boss, but it only counts if you were there for the whole run. Joining a in-progress won't work. And it's like atma, so need 12 different ones. Oh, and they randomly drop the different ones, you need the full set and... doubles can drop.
Or we'll just do the 2.0 relic styled steps all over again for 3.0How about the item that begins the relic will drop from odin or behemoth fate? Like atmas, you have to keep killing him to get it?

Hopefully the quest line won't be as grindy as light farming. Hopefully they learned their lesson with the first relic.
