    Red Scrips

    I just got my GS to 60! Woohoo! Thanks for your help with the HQing. I've been having a much better time with things. =D That said, what's the best way to farm red scrips? On my GS, I have two options: one that gives 2 scrips and one that gives 9 scrips.

    I don't find the collectables hard. It's just expensive/time consuming. Do we get better options with the book 3 recipes? (If we do, do I need to get the first book books before I can get the 3rd? Since I got to 50 during HW, I've been putting them off a bit.)

    Congratulations on getting to 60!

    No, the book 3 recipes don't make new options show up. Some of the options for other classes always require book 3 recipes, like alchemist and weaver, although they changed it in 3.1 to also offer a second easier recipe that doesn't require it for much less scrips. No, you don't need to get the first 2 books, you can get them in any order you want.

    For the easiest classes to get red scrips with, I find Birch Rod on carpenter and Noble Gold/Codex on alchemist to be pretty easy.

    Well, to be frank, the best way to farm Red Scrips is to have all classes at 60. Then you have 8 different choices, and you can pick the cheapest one or fastest one to do it.

    BSM & ARM's Adamantite items are usually tougher to obtain due to Adam Ore being "unspoiled", thus more "limited". But BSM and ARM stuff usually give the highest amount of Red Scrips.

    ALC & GSM use a lot of Aurum Regis Sand / Aurum Regis Ore. These are easier to obtain since retainers can bring back the sand and gold ore. So ALC & GSM stuff are usually more affordable, but give a bit less Red Scrips.

    Then there's Carpenter, which is also quite favorable due to the use of cheap Birch.

    WVR and LTW are less of my preference since they use a lot of Chimera Mane and Amphiptere, which retainers bring back at 3 folds slower rate.

    CUL is the cheapest choice, particular Deep-Friend Okeanis is my favorite. ALL mats are either obtained from retainers and/or cheaply acquired from Sahigan Tribe Vendor. However, CUL items give about 4 folds less Red Scrips. Thus, although it's cheap, it takes A LOT longer.

    I usually get half my scrips done with CUL first, then get a good number of items from other classes to reach approx 400-ish red scrips. Then finish up with a few more CUL items.

    The best way to cap red scrips each week differ for each person, I personally like the cheap/fast way.

    I gather all the mats myself, then I craft them, as for the class of choice, most often I find myself using ALC, item of craft is Noble's Gold/Codex and they require Masterbook III.

    At first I was using CUL for redscrip capping but I can't stand the redscrips it gave per craft.

    I need to decide with classes to get the specialization in as well. >.>;;; I can't decide. Dx I just saw how much it is to change if I screw it up and my mind went blank. x.x;

    No, not really. No one has identified a use, much less a need, for specializing, except for the Sky Pirates gear and some of the components that go into that gear, which only specialists can make.
