Right now there's only a one way transaction: a player will go on the market board and hope that the piece of equipment / HQ crafting ingredient that he wants is on sale. Meanwhile, a crafter pretty much the same problem: he makes something and hopes what he makes actually sells.

This pushes pretty much all crafters to only make that they know can reliably be sold, flooding the market with those goods.

That's why I propose that we create a commissioning system.

BUYER would go to the commissions board and post that he wants so many numbers of Item A and will pay X amount of gil for it (must put down the money upfront). Others would check the board and take the commission just like taking a quest.

The person who takes the commission must then complete the item and deliver it within a time limit (30-60min) to prevent hoarding and never delivering.

Upon delivery, the crafter/gatherer taker gets money and person who commissioned the item receives it via moogle mail.
