Thread: Voice Acting in FFXIV 2.0

Would be very nice to have an option to change voiceover to Japanese language. English voiceover simply suck in al SE games, and from those CS's i've seen so far i can tell that FFXIV is no exeption.

Uhh, English VO's perform very well in mainline FF games, up to the point of beating the original voice cast regularly.

Calling them merely inferior dubs would be an understatement.

So, FFXII, FFXIII, and a bunch of other recent games had terrible voice overs? No. Not at all. Maybe FFX was a bit wonky but they've certainly picked up their work when it comes to VAs.

I have noticed the changes since Patch 1.19/1.19a the following.

[B]1.Lots of Levequest but where is the xp we used to Get!

I mean whats the point of so many Card's to do when you have to work three times harder to get the same xp you used to get on 1 Card as well as the Gil ? Dont Get me wrong , more cards are Great dont get me wrong , but its not just Quantity we want where is the Quality and the amount those Leves uset to yeild ? is any one fooled by this , its just a watered down version to my mind.


2.XP parties with Bonus Are Great welcome Addition But!

We used to be able to party with friends at any levell to help out and they would have xp at lower levell like wise for the levell of mobs we killed ie if levell 50 in party killed mobs at levell 1 = no xp but levell 1 would yeild normal xp expected for thier levell. Like wise levell 50 killed level 40 mobs' levell one would get a ratio to its levell accordingly. This has all changed now where levell 1 will get nothing, Why I asked this change was made ? Now is it set at only 10 levell's max within one party between lowest levell player to highest levell player . is any one happy with this?

I don't know what happened in the posts above me, but anyway...

I do hope that voice overs make a comeback... I was very dissapointed when doing the company enlistment missions that the leaders didn't have voices.
