Youtube Video - little survey

Hey guys and girls

There are plenty of youtube videos of FFXIV - some really good and helpful ones, and of course a lot of trash, too.
But what kind of youtube video would YOU like to see? Are there any how-to's you are missing or any contents, which you think is worth to see or to show it in a different way? Are there any experiences of yours where you said: that should see everyone!

My reason for this little survey:
I am studying Design in germany and one of my main emphases is Cast - that means making youtube videos. For this semester I would like to do one about FFXIV. The difficulty here is, it has to earn 600 clicks in a week.
The video will be non-commercial! I only want a good grade

And that's why I want to know what YOU want to see on youtube about FFXIV. Or maybe, if you don't have any idea what that could be, you can post me, which youtube video about FFXIV you enjoyed the most?

I usually like funny stuff

For reference though, here are my favorite ones :

all of Drak's videos on FFxiv. These guys know how to have fun while raiding and how to make us laugh through their miseries and successes.

Veri Merri has some fun stuff. Joking guides on classes like the WAR one I linked or his DRK guide are good stuff I enjoy watching over and over again.

Seven Tea's wipe song. Not "funny" per say, but a really good performance and sure to make raiders stuck on AS3 smile


Generally, I'd say that what you'd need is something that talks to the players. Be it a well-made guide, a funny video, a fan-made song, etc... You need to find something people can relate to. And then you need to properly advertize it, and improve based on feedback received ^^

Do something YOU would want to watch. That may be the best advice you can ever get.

Videos about how to make gil seem to get a lot of views. Not that I have ever had any trouble making gil, I did look up "FFXIV How to make gil." on Youtube just to see if there were any methods I was missing that might be more time saving and I found quite a lot of helpful videos. Just a quick search just now and I found the top results have 6,000+, 56,000+, and 135,000+ views. This is just an idea off the top of my head, you may or may not be interested in making a video about how to make gil in the game, and I don't know how long it took for those videos to acquire as many views as they have, but it seems to be a pretty popular search on Youtube.

Best of luck to you on your project! I hope you get a good grade regardless of what your video is about, and if you need views just post about your video on the forums and reddit. That could possibly get you the 600 views you need. Cheers!

The graphics of the game should be better. On MGS V and on The Witcher 3 the graphics are really closed with the cinematic graphics.
