    How Beats Tribes unlocking work ?

    Hello, it's been not new to FF14 but when it comes to Beast Tribes I am beginner.
    I have unlocked 3 Beast tribes : The Kobold,Sahagin and Sylph.

    Howerver there is still some tribes i didn't unlock like the Ama'jaa and the Ixali one (I don't count the new tribe Vanu Vanu for the moment).

    I follow the guide http://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wi...t_Tribe_Quests to see how to unlock them but the NPC who give the quests don't have any quests.

    So what I am doing wrong ? I can't have more thant 3 Beasts tribes at the same times ? Do I need to max a tribe affinity to be able to unlock a new one ? Do I have to be on a specific GC to see the quests ? (For exemple Serpent Twins for the Ixali Beasts tribes)

    I really want to unlock the Ixali quest since it's help for leveling crafting class. Maybe there is some quests hidden to do (I finish the 3.1 main story quests, so I don't think it's a problem of not being far enough in the main story)

    Are you actually speaking to the right npc? You have to speak to Swift at the Hall of Flames to get the initial quest that unlocks the amal'jaa quests - I'm not sure but I think the Ixal quests require you to have gotten maximum rank in the other beast tribes before you can unlock it. You also need to have passed a certain quest in the main scenario, but as you've completed Heavensward that is pretty moot.

    You don't need max rank in others that's for sure.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your help but yeah I check and recheck it was the correct NPC Switf (for Ajmal'ja) or Scarlet (for Ixali)
    and the quest didn't appear. After looking for similiar issues i found this thread : http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...t-Tribe-Quests

    It seems it's the same problem so it's more a bug.
